I walked back downstairs to get ready for school, still feeling the after-effects of yesterday noon.

I walked down the hall, passing by the rustic mirror in the process. I stopped to look at it, inspecting all the little cracks in the sides and the smudges on it.

My eyes finally grazed over my reflection staring back at me, my deep purple bags under my eyes calling for a caking of concealer, my wilted hair in every which way.
I somewhat smiled.

"Today's a new day..."

            ~Insert despair arc intro~

It was gloomy outside as I walked towards Hopes Peak. The only sounds echoing throughout the streets were the howling of the wind and the tapping of my shoes with every light step.

I heard another pair of sneakers come up behind me, quickly getting faster with each passing step. I didn't turn around to look, I simply moved out of the way as I watched an all too certain pink haired bozo trip and fall right beside me.

I chuckled at the stupidity, as he just stared at me with puppy dog eyes.
"What? You want help or something?" I questioned. He nodded his head like a child that had just fallen off of their bike.

I sighed and gave my hands to him. He smiled and took them.

Then we started walking together - talking about what's been up with each other for the past few days. It was..peaceful..to say the least.

Both of us sighed as we were pushed into the hollowed our halls of the new building. Outside of said building were vicious reserve course students that were pissed off about something. I tried to listen to what they were screaming their lungs out for, but all I heard were cries of equality and madness.

Even in the midst of screams, I tried to look for Izuru. Yet there was nothing.

"Geez, That was way too close. They almost ripped off a sleeve of mine!" Kaz groaned. I rolled my eyes.

"Get used to it sharkie, it doesn't show signs of stopping anytime soon..." my voiced trailed off. The bodyguard beside me nodded his head.

"Yeah, you guys should be more careful. Don't want anymore people going missing..." he said the last part in silence, his head tilting down in the process. His loose green hair fell over his eyes.

Kaz nodded then gasped. "Dude! Am I considered famous? Ohhhh I'm gonna get all the chicks, wait until miss Sonia hears about this!" Then he ran off to our class yelling for Sonia. Both the bodyguard and I shook our heads.

"I guess I should go as well. Thanks again Mr....?" I trailed off once again. He grunted.

"Just call me Juzo. And anytime kid, just don't be problematic alright?" He blatantly said while walking away.

I went the opposite way as him, while taking a pen out and writing 'Juzo' three times on the palm of my hand.

What can I say, it's an old trick for remembering.

Most of my class stood in front of the giant window that was beside my desk, looking towards the outside. We were all silently observing until..

"How long do you think they're gonna keep 'em out?" Ibuki questioned.

"They have a right to protest, I guess. They're just so angry.." Chiaki's soft voice spoke. Ibuki turned towards her and moped "yo~ we're not allowed to call it that."

"Or so they say.." I said lightly as I tapped the window with my foot and walked to my desk, sitting down and leaning back in my chair, still watching everything unfold.
