After my little meltdown outside of the classroom, I walked inside, eyes trailing my every move.
As soon as I opened the door and walked in, everyone in class starting trailing me with questions.
"Dude what happen?"
"Where's Nagito and Mrs. Yukizome?"
"Ohh I bet that lucksters getting even luckier!"
"Shut if you pig perv!"
I had said "guys" but no one was listening.
"Guys?"
Still, no one listened.
"Guys!"
Arugh they're all deaf hoes.
"FUCKBOYS CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
"..."
Well, that's one way to get their attention.

"Look, Nagito was the cause of the explosion, but before you go saying how crazily stupid he is, he did it for us."
Akane wasn't late to chime in saying "yeah, right. That dumbass thinks he can just blow up the school for fun right before exams?"
You have her a dirty glare which sent her to growl at you for some reason.
"He did it because we were complaining about exams dumbfuck. He wanted us to be happy, so he did that. Yeah it was stupid and he's gonna get in shit for it, but when you think about it, we caused him to do it.."
Everyone stopped what they were doing and just looked at you. Even Akane has shut up about it.
"Guys Chisa's gonna be coming soon, we should probably keep quiet about this shit until she mentions it to us. Let's just sit down and wait for her. After she comes don't mention anything about her going to be a reserve course teacher or about Nagito, okay?
Everyone chimed in and said "okay" or "yeah sure" while getting back to their seats.

About 5 minutes of quiet talks amongst the class, Chisa had returned. She opened the door with a fake smile and sang "hey there good morni-" but was cut short by glares at her. She gave a slight 'egh' while looking around at the students. I just crossed my arms and leaned back in my seat that watch this all unfold.
"So you've uh..heard the announcement.."
Everyone got up and stood around her while I just leaned forward in my seat to listen.
" Come on teach someone screwed up right?" Akane dived straight in with the questions. Next was Nekomaru implying " what's this shit about transferring to the reserve course?" Then Ibuki added " they want us to finish off the year with some substitute hack?!" They Ryota mentioned " did you hear about Komaeda getting suspended?"

So much for keeping everyone's fucking mouths shut.

Chisa just looked at everyone with a bored but sad expression. She said in a soft voice "he'll return eventually. He just uh.." She looked at me forsake sort of support, I gave her a "it's okay" look and she continued. " got swept up in unfortunate circumstances." I nodded my head and smiled. Hiyoko added on to the mist of questions by saying " unfortunate circumstances? Jeez, the gym got totally destroyed!" Kaz, being the oblivious person he is questioned " what did the genius do now?"
I face palmed and some people looked back at me. Chisa shook her head and gave almost the same sappy speech I did. " he was thinking of you! His only thought was helping his classmates. Sure his methods were questionable..."
Mahiru then chimed in "yeah, to be honest that's what Chi was saying to us, but we didn't wanna believe it.."
Chisa looked at me and smiled, then motioned me to come closer. I hesitantly did so, and she brought me right beside her.
God this felt like I was in a movie or some shit.
" that's right Chi...Now when he comes back I want you all to give him a warm welcoming for me. "
" A-ah! But do you r-really have to..go?" Mikan asked as Sonia's eyes started welling up with tears. Chisa looked so upset to be leaving, I genuinely felt bad.
"Sonia don't cry, she'll be back. And we can always go visit her in the reserve course department." I tried to bring everyone's hopes up, which seemed to somewhat work. Sonia gave a small " you're right, thank you!" And people's mood started lighting up.
Chisa wiped away the excess tears on Sonia's face while Kaz tried (and failed) hugging Sonia. Chisa continued off of my statement " she's right. And it's more like training. I'm not through with you yet!"
Gundham had the now back to bite sized dog on his shoulder and said " oh no?"
Chisa smiled and said " you haven't seen the Last of me kiddos, I'm your teacher.." She put an arm around my shoulder and I smiled at her.
" I'm your teacher and don't you ever forget it! I know that hiatus isn't ideal, but I'll come back! Look forward to that day and don't loose hope!" I chuckled at her words and she put on an even bigger smile. Fuyuhiko's eyes widened and she continued " we're all in this together! Class representative? In the meantime, protect everyone.."
Chiaki said back in her usual shy voice " yes ma'am, of course."
Chisa smiled brightly and her grip got tighter on me. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and gave a plastered smile.

Look, it's not everyday your best friend gets suspended for blowing up the school in the name of hope okay? You just have to smile through the the pain and torture.

Hell, that's what I've been doing my whole damn life.

But I knew this wasn't over, it was never over at Hopes Peak.
So when that day comes, we will try again. For the sake of our school. For the sake of our friends.

For the sake of hope...
