Ethan and Alexandra walked Eric's castle gardens. The warm fresh air carried the scent of the short soft green grass they walked over. Large trees offered protection from the warm harsh sun.
"Well planning yesterday was intense." Ethan let out a low laugh.
"Only two weeks left. I don't know who's more nervous us or our mothers, was I the only one who noticed the vain bulging on my mothers forehead?" Alex laughed.
"Had you ever thought of it before? Your wedding day I mean." Ethan asked nervously.
"As a girl yes. Me and Jane had the days all figured out." A small smile creeped across Alex face.
"What was it like?"
"It was in the clearing in the woods behind the castle, wild flowers decorated the ground. White benches decorated with blue and white lace ribbon and white roses sat  either side of the isle, filled with our friends and families. White rose petals line the floor of the isle. I'd be wearing a light blush chiffon dress and vail. I'd walk up the isle with my father, I'd be so nervous at first but when I see my husband standing under the blossom tree all my fears would wash away and the only thing stopping me running up the isle to be in his arms is my fathers arm. When I finally reach him and he pulls my veil back I can't hide my smile from cheek to cheek. After the wedding there's music and we dance into the night, the forest lit up by a thousand lights like fire flys."

"Do you ever picture me?" Ethan knew their marriage was just for alliance but he wanted Alex to be happy, he wanted for them to get their happy ever after

"Do you ever picture me?" Ethan knew their marriage was just for alliance but he wanted Alex to be happy, he wanted for them to get their happy ever after.
"Maybe one day I will." Alex sighed. She wanted to love Ethan but her heart longed for more, she wanted adventure, passion, she wanted the unknown.
"We'll make this work Alex." Ethan toke her hands in his as the two stood face to face. "I know I'm not your Prince Charming but when we are king and queen we can make life better for our people, all our people. We can team with Ben to get isle kids brung here to Tritan's bay to start new life's. I'll stand behind you every step of the way Alex." Alex may not have lived Ethan but she respected him very much, he was so kind and was going to make a great king.
"Alex!" Edward and Ellis ran up to the couple joyfully kicking a football.
"If it isn't the little prince and princess." Alex smiled brightly.
"Play with us." Edward asked kicking her ball to Alex. Alex stole a glance at Ethan who looked amused.
"Its a bad idea to turn down my siblings, they look sweet and innocent but their tiny terrors." Ethan tickled Ellis making her laugh.
"Girls against boys?" Alex raises a eyebrow.
"Your going down princess's" Edward taunted.
"Boys are losers, we are so winning this." Ellis stuck her tongue out.
"Yeah, boys are losers." Alex taunted Ethan quietly making them both smile.
Alex kicked the ball the Ellis who dribbled it around Edward who chased her hot in her tail. The girls were winning four to three when Edward kicked the ball and I landed in the branches of the old willow tree.
"Edward! You ruined the game." Ellis groaned.
"All not lost yet." Alex smiled taking off her white heels handing them to Ethan who looked at her confused. She walked over to a low branch and started to climb. She climbed effortlessly up the large tree in her pink dress.
"Go Alex!" Ellis shouted in excitement.
"Very princessly." Ethan smiled up at her.
"I had a twin brother, Ben and I spent more time climbing trees than in our classes." Alex shrugged chucking the ball down to Ethan. The younger siblings cheered and squealed taking the ball. Alex hoped down lightly.  Ethan walked over the her with her heels that she slipped back into. He looked down at her before lifting a hand and bringing it to her hair. After a second he picked the leave from her hair.
"Your something completely different." He didn't step away from her. Her eyes explored his as the tension built.
"I hope your not trying to trick me into letting you win." Alex smiled nervously before darting off after the kids.
