Chapter 10

The girls slipped through the door into Lady Tremaines hairdressers. A young girl danced around sweeping up hair to the music blaring through her headphones. We she caught sight of the girls she pulled the headphones off a squealed
"Mal! Is Evie with you?"
"You wish." Mal huffed.
"Ekkkkk! Your princess Alexandra!" Dizzy squealed making her jump, then smile.
"I forgot you don't open till twelve. So Dizzy what's your deal? Your grandma given you anymore customers?" Mal walked around like she owned the place.
"A few witches here and there, but it's mainly scrubbing, dusting and a lot of sweeping."
"Sounds like the old Cinderella treatment." Alex pursed her lip leaning back on a table.
"Yeah she went from evil stepmother to evil grandmother." Dizzy shrugged.
"Not much of a switch." Alex smiled at the star struck girl.
"So Dizzy you used to do Evie's hair right?"
"Yeah I thought of little braids."
"Any ideas for me?" Mal walked over to her.
"Erm let me see.." Dizzy examined the girl. "The washed out blonde with purple tips, the best of no worlds. How far can I go." She rubbed her chin.
"The works. I want to feel like me but way but way worse." She pursed her lips flopping back into the chair.
"And you princess?" Dizzy turned to Alex looking eager. She thought it through for a second before shrugging.
"Why not."
Dizzy squealed again grabbing her scissors.
"She'll need some clothes to D." Mal added.

It felt like they had been sat in those seats forever when Dizzy finally finished.
"Perfect." She stepped back admiring her work.
"Ah, there I am." Mal leant down looking in the mirror loving her light purple hair with bangs.
Alex followed suite leaning over next to Mal.
"Wow, Dizzy I love it." She smiled. Her long curly dirty blonde hair was now styled into a messy ponytail with her bangs framing her face. Dizzy handed her a two tone blue Jean fitted trousers, a white cropped vest top and Jean jacket that matched her pants. She slipped off into the back room to change her clothes. She unclipped the lace choker laying it on the table, she slipped off her silver bracelets then moved onto her rings. She pulled off the silver crown ring, the pink flower ring then her hand ran onto her diamond engagement ring. She toke a second fighting with the idea of taking it off but couldn't bring herself to part with it. She slipped in the clothes Dizzy had given her as well as a gold chain choker that in her mother would have had a heart attack if she'd worn in Auradon, before returning to the main shop earning a approving smile from Mal.
"Oh and these shoes." Dizzy handed her a pair a black leather heels boots which Alex slipped into.
"Could I pass as a Isle girl?" Alex smiled spinning.
"Born and bred." Mal raised a eyebrow.
"I can't believe I got to give the princess a makeover!" Dizzy squealed.

Alex outfit.

"Your great Dizzy. We need a designer like you in Auradon." Alex smiled handing the girl some money for her time.
"I'll get change.." Dizzy turned to head to the counter.
"No you earned every penny." Alex hugged her.
Mal handed her a note. As Dizzy headed to the till to put it in a tall brunette guy in a red pirate coat walked in. He stood in front of Dizzy towering over her completely ignoring the other to girls.
"Hand it over runt." He held out his hand as she handed him the note. "And the rest." He tapped the till with his hook.
"What's wrong with you." Alex stormed over stopping between him and Dizzy. He raised his eyebrows taunting her. "Does it make you feel big and powerful stealing from little girls." Alex wasn't about to back down.
"And maybe instead I should pick on someone my own size?" He stepped closer so the two were almost touching.
"Could you handle it, pirate." Alex stood her ground although her heart was racing.
"I could hurt you." Harry run his hook along Alex throats taunting her. Alex stood firm trying to look unfazed while her heart was threatening to jump out her chest.
"Not without Uma's permission I bet." Mal jumped in trying to defuse the situation seeing neither was about to back down. Harry spun around facing her a smile spreading across his face.
"Just WAIT till Uma hears your back. She's never going to give you back your turf." He strolled over to Mal.
"Oh good, because I'm gunna take it." Mal pursed her lips looking disinterested. Harry spun around a smile from ear to ear. On his way to the door he knocked off the contents of one of the tables turning back to the girls he bowed mocking them before disappearing through the door.

"Who was that idiot?" Alex huffed.
"That was Harry Hook." Dizzy smiled.
"His part of Uma's crew." Mal slouched back in the chair.
"Hey Dizzy, take this. Put it somewhere secret." Alex handed her more money to replace what had been taken.
"Thank you princess. But you should be careful Harry could of really hurt you there." Dizzy warned.
"She's right, looks like Uma's in charge around here for now. You'd be smart to keep a low profile." Mal added rising up from her seat.
"Okay." Alex toke Mal's advice knowing it would be stupid and reckless to go against her.
"I've got some things to do. I'll meet you at the loft?" Mal walked over to the door.
"Yeah sure."Alex smiled.
"Alex, be careful. We're not on Auradon anymore."
"I promise." With that Mal disappeared through the door. Dizzy smiled up at Alex.
"So what are you going to do now?"
"Erm, fancy giving me a tour?" Alex smiled.
"YES! Yes!" Dizzy screamed.
"Okay lead the way." Alex extended a hand towards the door indicating for Dizzy to lead.
