Chapter 28

After hours of running through the routine with the rest of the cheerleaders they finally had it down.

"So Harry's here." Jane urged Alex to explain as they gathered their things before heading into the now empty corridors. All the younger years where in class and most other seniors spent study periods in the library.

"Yeah." Alex smiled nervously, she knew things weren't going to be easy but she was so happy to have Harry here with her again.

"So where does that put you and Ethan?"

"I don't know. I really need to talk to him and explain, his not the bad guy here." Alex sighed.

"You going to talk to him tonight?" Jane seemed more nervous than the princess although she tried to hide it.

"Yeah I have wedding planning in..." Alex checked her phone before gasping "Shit! right now." She grabbed her stuff in a frantic rush. "Sorry Jane I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alex just be careful please." Jane shouted after her friend.

When Alex burst into Ariel's castle Ariel, Belle and Ethan were sitting around a large oak table with the wedding planners spread aimlessly across the table.

"Alex you're here." Belle exclaimed when she caught sight of her daughter.

"So what's on the schedule for today?" Alex asked taking a look at the folders that were spread across the table, they was filled with seating arrangements.

"Looks fun right?" Ethan chuckled from his seat.

"Such fun. Actually Ethan could I talk to you for a second please?" Alex practically dragged Ethan out of the room.

"Hey what's up Alex?" Alex's strange behaviour had Ethan feel uneasy.

"Harry's here..." She blurted.

Wait what? The pirate from the isle? "Ethan's throat was dry as his heart threatened to leap out his chest.

" Yes he was part of the new group who came over today. Ethan i know we said we would go through with the wedding but there's got to be another way. Neither of us want this and we both deserve a chance to find true love..... " Alex was cut off by Ethan.

"Do you really love him?" Ethan spoke softly completely shocking the princess.

"I do." She agreed.

" Then let's find a way to get this wedding called off. " He smiled genuinely.

"Really?"

"Of course, who am I to stand in the way of true love." Ethan chuckled at her surprise.

" Thank you you're the best. " Alex flung her arms around his waist pulling him into a hug.

"We should get back out there our mother's will get suspicious." He smiled taking her hand and starting back towards the hall.

" Ethan we're meeting at Ben's room at lunch tomorrow to try think of a plan, will you come? "

" Of course, I think it's finally time I meet this pirate that stole your heart." He reassured her.

Sorry I've been inactive lately but my laptop broke, all sorted now so will be making up for lost time. ☺
