Two days had past since the night on the deck. Harry spent most of his day up on deck helping run the ship reading it for when they get the wand and would finally be free to sail to Auradon. Alex on the other hand spent most of her time locked up in the room making dresses from the materials they had stolen from the market until Harry returned.
"Princess I'm back." Harry chimed as he swung the door open.
"Finally I thought I might actually die of boredom." Alex laughed. "How's things up there?"
"Intense... you've got Uma freaking out."
"How much longer do they have?"
They have till midday tomorrow..."
"Maybe they'll follow the rules and put the kingdom first this time." Alex smiled sadly.
"They still have time.." Harry's pleads was interrupted when the door swung open revealing Cj and Gile who looked at the pair confused before Gile exclaimed.
"I knew it!"
"Gile shhhh, Do you want the whole ship to hear" Alex ran over covering his mouth nervously.
"Really Harry!? Uma will flip if she finds out." Chloe moaned.
"She isn't going to find out...." Harry pleaded.
"Her friends are going to come nfor her tomorrow!" Anger laced Cjs voice.
"Erm Uma wants to see Alex." Gile added nervously earring a disaproving glare from Cj.
"Oh uh lead the way Gile." Alex didn't want to hear all the reasons they couldn't be together again, every time it hurt more than the last. Before following Gile out the door and leaving the siblings alone she mouthed sorry to Harry sadness in her eyes.
As Alex and Gile walked to the fish shop Gile couldn't stop smiling.
"So when did it start?" Gile asked.
"What?" Alex was snapped out if her thoughts.
"You and Harry." Gile urged.
"No.. no we are not having this talk." Alex couldn't help but chuckle at the circumstances.
"Ohhhhh come on I can be like your fairy godmother." Gile whined.
"I have a fairy godmother Gile." Alex had a smile spread across her face, her time on the isle hadn't been what she had expected but she did like Gile he was always there to lighten the mood, Gile wasn't a bad person jut the son of one.
"Oh yeaahhh I forget you're royalty sometimes." He answered excitedly.
"If only Uma would forget." Alex laughed as they stopped outside the fish shop. "Does this place even have a hygiene rating?" Alex asked sarcastically.
"Uma we're here." Gile called out as they walked though the swinging doors.
"Princess Alexandra finally." Uma smiled wickedly.
"Always a pleasure." Alex toke a seat on the bench. "So why'd you drag me all the way out here, I thought I was on boat arrest."
"Not long now princess, looks like your friends are going to come through after all...."
"So you dragged me to this dump to tell me you won?" Alex cut her off bluntly.
"Not going to pull the 'if you let me go I could fix everything' card?" Uma tormented.
"What's the point your to stubborn to see the truth anyway." Alex was tired of being Uma's play toy.
"Oh princess careful you'll hurt my feelings." Uma teased.
"Your feelings? Uma the last thing I care about on this earth is your feelings. I personally think you and your feelings should go jump from a cliff." Alex empathised the word feelings as she spoke her words like venom.
"Now now is that anyway for a princess to speak." Uma wouldn't let up.
"For someone who's mothers a sea witch you struggle to tell when you're completely out of dept, you can't win this Uma and you know it, so if it's okay when you id like to go back to the boat." Alex got up tired of Uma's games. Uma waved a hand gesturing to Gile to return Alex to the ship. "I'm going to be smelling fish for weeks." Alex muttered as Gile and her headed to the doors.
