" Alex...Alex." Doug shook Alex wake.
"What? Oh sorry." She apologised realising she'd fallen asleep in the middle of their maths lesson.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just busy." She shrugged it off copying the notes from the board.
"You're the biggest news in Auradon after cotillion, you coping with the reporters Okay?"
"I can put on a show for the reporters but lying to my parents about Harry was so hard."
"What did you tell them in the end?"
"I pieced together some lie about how I pretended to be in love with a pirate to get them to help me escape. They don't know it was Harry, Doug they can't find out otherwise they'll never let him come to Auradon." Alex pleaded.
" I promise my lips are sealed, but everyone wants to know who the mystery guy is just be careful." Doug warned.
*ring ring* the school bell blared signally the beginning of lunch. Everyone rushed to pack up their stuff and disappear out into the corridor.
"Thanks Doug. I should go I'm on the welcoming comity, Ben will go nuts if I'm late." Alex got up taking her time to pack her books into her bag before getting up from her seat.
"Don't forgot we have band practice in our free period. We need to practice for the your birthday if we're going to blow everyone away." They made their way to the front of the class handing in their papers to the teacher before joining the crowds in the corridor.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." Alex waved as Doug was ushered away with the crowd that headed out to the cafeteria. She went the other way heading out to the front of the school where things were a lot more failed down from the originals arrival, this time Mal had talked Ben into taking a more subtle approach. Instead of vast bands and dancers there was a small welcoming party that consist of Ben, Mal, Evie and Alex. The front of the school was decorated with blue and yellow banners and welcome banners. Balloons floated around the sky. Alex made her way over to her brother she jumped onto his back taking him by surprise.
"Well this is more chilled than last time." Alex tormented still hanging on her brothers back.
"Mal and Evie said it would be better to keep it low key and casual." Ben sighed giving up trying to shake his sister off.
The limo pulled into the entrance causing Evie the squeal.
"Wow E, excited?" Alex squinted mockingly.
"Shhh princess." Evie warned.
The limo came to a stop in front of the large water fountain and the door swung open. First out was little Dizzy who squealed jumping around in excitement.
"Ouch." Cj climbed out next fingers in her ears as she shot daggers at Dizzy. After her climbed out Gile who was in complete awe of Auradon. Lastly climbed out the person Alex wanted to see the most, Harry. He stood by the limo assessing the school before turning his attention to the welcoming comity.
