Chapter 17

By the time Harry and Alex returned from their adventure where Harry taught Alex to steal, act and talk like a villain rain clouds stirred above the ship.
"Well that was intense." Alex laughed recalling how Julian had almost caught them sneaking back.
"Julians harmless." Harry turned to Alex.
"I have to disagree." Alex said hushed as her hand raised to the bruises on her arm.
"Sorry about that." Harry had a mixture of sadness and anger welling up inside him.
"It wasn't your fault." Alex smiled weakly.
"I should have stopped him. I shouldn't have let him lay a hand on you." Harry filled with anger.
"Harry.." Alex laid a hand on his arm trying to calm him. But he continued on.
"After talking to you on the ship that day I, I started to see you differently, I was annoyed Gile interrupted us. I was annoyed I was letting whatever I felt for you get in the way of our plan. So I distanced myself from you, I told myself that feeling I had around you would leave if I just stayed away from you..."
"And did it?"
"No, I don't know what kind of spell you have on me but I want to spend every minute of everyday with you."
Alex's heart raced as they step breaths width apart. She ached for his kiss and with each second the urge grew stronger.
"That's crazy though, your a princess and I'm a villain, We live in different worlds. I've done things that even you couldn't forgive."
"I don't mind your shadows, because they disappear in the light. We've had these voices in our heads telling us how we should think and act, well they won't pull us under. I don't mind your shadows because they look a lot like mine." Alex toke his hand in hers running her thumb along his hand as she looked up into his eyes.
"But Uma's plan." Harry's hesitated.
"Harry just shut up and kiss me."

Harry smiled wrapping his arms around the small of her back pulling her in closer to him as the distance closed between the two. Their lips met in a passionate kiss and Alex practically shone with happiness, when they broke apart a small laugh escaped her lips.
"Your nothing like I thought you'd be." Harry whispered as he kissed her neck.
"Your not so bad for a pirate." Alex taunted nudging his shoulder. The sky's opened as rain poured down soaking Alex and Harry.
Alex looked up laughing with the biggest smile. She threw her hands to the air and spun with glee. When her eyes finale met Harry's again his eyes were fixed on her, he smiled sweetly watching how care free she was in that moment.
"What?" Alex smiled standing in front of him.
"You're so beautiful." He wiped her hair back from her eyes then smiled wickedly before picking Alex up and throwing her over his shoulder. She squealed before squirming with laughter.
"Princesses should not be man handled." Alex laughed.
"Your not in Auradon anymore princess, we play by our own rules here." Alex gave in as Harry carried her off down the stairs towards his room.
