It had been a day since Alex had been taken hostage. She'd been kept locked in Harry's room, he didn't come to see her since their talk on the deck the night she was taken. Sunlight crept through the cubby hole illuminating Alex's body as she laid asleep in the bed. Her eyes fluttered open at the noise of footsteps coming down the steps. She laid still looking over at the door, when it creaked open Gile stood with a plate of food. "Breakfast." He smiled. "Um, uh thanks." Alex sat up taking the plate. "Your Belles daughter right?" Gile stood in front of her. "Yeah, Belle and Adam." "Gaston's my dad." "Oh, I'm guessing your not a fan." Alex looked up at the boy trying to gage what he was thinking. "You don't seem so bad." He smiled at her warmly. "I could say the same about you." "It's a shame." "What?" "You would have fit in well around here." "What, you mean like staying here on the boat like a villain?" "You haven't thought about it?" "Uh, the thoughts crossed my mind. But it would be impossible, I'd be dragged back to Auradon in a heartbeat."
