Twenty minutes to 10 a.m, Jason had already entered the vacant classroom that passed for the detention center this year. Why the room within itself was never directly organized to bring that.....imprisonment feel to being stuck in detention never once crossed Jason's mind; only now was he starting to peel off the layers to that sentiment and embrace how well it felt to not have the latter.
Filled with rather obnoxious people who couldn't handle the rules along with other "weirdos and criminals" as his dad put it, most of which were just beginning to pile in from the back entrance, it certainly seemed as if the detention teacher sure had his work cut out for him. Not to mention, it definitely seemed like it wasn't gonna be anything special this day. But from all the other people who were in that room, Jason knew the other four of them stood out from the rest.
With everyone gathering in, Jason was quick to meet with one of them downstairs, running into Billy plugging in some cords before awkwardly stopping in front of Jason with a....rather muddled look of worry. It was a staring contest for a couple of seconds before Jason just taps on Billy's shoulder and smirks before heading over to his seat.
Trini, in her observant nature, was left twiddling her pen in her right, smiling at the sight from her seat all while Zack was left perched on the back of the wall adjacent to the desk behind him. Directed and centered behind Billy's desk, he took the liberty in rotating the chair around just as Billy began taking his seat.
Sitting backwards behind Billy's desk, Billy sensed it and looked back at Zack smiling at him....to which he follows suit. He did however take notice of Colt Wallace on his far right with his head down, snoring mildly. Long as I don't wake him up, we're good, he thought out to himself.
And then came in Kimberly, sporting the familiar light pink short cami Old Navy built-in undershirt from days earlier. With Jason being the only who noticed her sporting the same clothes, it went by unabated pretty quickly.
Then out of nowhere, Bulk and Skull were among the last to enter the room, looking worse for wear. Only a day had passed since their debacle with Tommy and Billy in the hallway and because God forbid they actually learn anything from picking the wrong fight with the wrong guy, they were left stumbling over each other and over their own feet thanks to Skull's right arm incased in a cast and Bulls left ankle.
The first to notice them was Kimberly, given the two were making too much noise to ignore even if they would've preferred to actually stay silent for once.
"Oh great", she mumbled to herself, realizing they were in her field of vision and likely the first thing they were going to see once they got down the stairs.
"So this is why you couldn't make it to our date last Saturday", Skull pointed out seeing how comfortable she was in this environment, given her reputation. "Guess detention does have its benefits, eh?"
This just annoyed Kim. Three plus years in the eleventh grade and neither him or Bulk have developed or improved in any which way.
"In your dreams, Skull. That never happened."
Kimberly just walked past him with no other point in trying but to just shove the matter aside; they literally got incased in casts for trying to bully Tommy cause they had nothing better to do. If this wasn't enough to get them to wake up and take this matter seriously, why even bother?
She got about an inch away from Skull before Bulk, be that as it made, slithered up to Kim intending to block her path. Just made him look even more stupid in comparison, however.
"Well....looks like someone here needs to be taught some manners", Bull ignored her remarks entirely and even went so far as to touch her, which Kim immediately smacked his hand away. Sensing how dicey this was quickly involving into, Jason's eyes peeled at the sight and only just sat up from his seat.
