Corelation Of Loss

At least for Billy, today's chaotic turn of events can be put at the backburner in exchange for, hopefully, three days of uneventful yet peaceful relaxation. Of course he wasn't going to do it without his gang. With the whole gang regrouping shortly after the brawl, it had just so happened to be close to the last two classes of the day.

So watching the clock tick-tick-tick away was practically child's play.

Not too long afterwards, the other four were tagged.....or forced to come along with Billy as he had brought them back to his house. Having parked the van up on the ramp leading to the front, going straight through the front door was something Billy did not have time for.....at least not today. Luckily, he had a single button Genie remote specifically for the garage; not like he didn't actually need it because there was already a garage clicker right along the right side of it.

But Billy, being the brainiac, decided to go for the dramatic reveal as a single click left the scraped and rusted 15 ft 6 in. x 7 ft. double doors slowing inching off the concrete floor, leaving the gang standing right outside it. Billy let Trini be the first one in once the door was done lifting and let the others follow suit.

Of course, the first instinct you have when entering a foreign area would be to look around. Remembering the first time Jason came here was a blur in most areas since his concern was more concerned on getting past the time limit on his ankle bracket for scoring house arrest.....so it took awhile to remember that the garage was basically where Billy was living at this point.

Not to mention the basement and garage were basically merged together down here.

"Nice garage, Bill", Zack pointed out the garage's slightly bigger than average garage.

"I used to do all my projects down here......'till my dad had his accident. Since then I....well, let's just say I spent more time in the basement.....which this is.....I guess?"

Off track yet again and he was well aware. Wasn't what they were here for. Refocusing, he leads the four over to the other end of the garage which had a barely functioning lightbulb dangling over a wooden table and a map plastered up to the left end of the wall by the wooden stairs that led back up to the house.

Of course, before business, there was Billy remembering to pick up where they let off regarding his incident earlier on today with Bulk and Skull and the new kid in his life.

"Are you sure this guy didn't suspect anything when you grabbed him?", Jason was quick to catch up on.

Billy just nodded, acting overly positive. "He completely forgot soon as Mr. Caplin threw the hammer on him and Bulk and Skull. He didn't ask after that."

The names Bulk and Skull caused both Kim and Trini to sulk and rip their heads in both embarrassment and aggravation, having to hear their names again. There was truly no getting away from those goofballs. "You know they were supposed to be seniors this year", Kim revealed to them all. "Threw that all away last year when they were held back again from another incident last last year."

"What happened?"

"You don't want to know", Trin just whispered in Zack's ears to which he stared off at Jason, who further validated Trini's point by nodding 'No'.

"Ok......Umm, f—frack."

Everyone turned back to Billy, still keen on trying to keep himself from cursing.

It took him a minute to put it behind him before walking up to the shelves adjacent to the map and the sodden stairs. Reaching up to the top shelf with only his fingertips edging close, his tippy toes were an advantage of gaining just a little more extra height. The four stayed relatively close behind him, exchanging curious glances at each other before Billy finally got ahold of a large white oak wooden box and placed it on the tool table.
