That Friday morning offered about the right amount of normality any troubled kid like Tommy desperately needed within that moment. With the week drawing to a close, the weekend creeping around the corner and the finals etching closer, Angel Grove High was in the process of cleaning and clearing out for the summer and in preparation for next year.

Most of the gloomy decor that had haunted the five main teenagers with attitude had since dissipated away in their minds while the actual setting of the school didn't differ much to what it looked like since after the Goldar attack. The only major difference being that Principal Denver Fine had stepped down from his position, his family being heavily effected from the aftermath of Rita's attack. As a result, he needed to be replaced going into finals and the last month and half of school.

Not that people paid much attention to that, or that it even changed anything heading closer into finals. The halls were still crowded with students chattering through the halls, opening and closing lockers, leaving and going into classrooms and bathrooms. It looked every bit as conventional as any high school operated, except on the walls and columns laid some posters with marker writings of "Go Go Power Rangers!"

Since the attack, the Rangers popularity had slowly but surely landed their fair share of loyalists and a number of fan clubs by some of the students, completely unaware and oblivious to the fact that who they admire just so happened to be consisted of a fearless daredevil, a tomboy, an autistic kid and the former quarterback and cheerleading captain of Angel Grove Highs football team.

The unlikeliest of teams normally have it both ways.

Not that the gang itself minded all that much.

It was currently 11:35 a.m, and the cafeteria was heavily packed with either hungry students and teachers in need of a late breakfast or people who decided to pass the time by. Already full with a hearty breakfast hours prior, Kimberly, Trini and Jason were amongst the few students sitting at small roundtables in the cafeteria chatting amongst themselves.....and discussing actual business.

Except their business involved more of the end-of-the-world phenomenons they'd come to expect since Rita's first arrival, with this scoop of the day consisting of Jason just heeding the girls on Zordon's warning all while leaving out his own personal plight on his misconception of whether or not the floating head was right about his position as leader.

He figured it'd make it easier on them without them having to worry.

"So what if there are other threats?", Trini brought back to Jason's attention, removing her AirPods from the ears while the song Problem by Becky G ft. Will.I.Am faded away into nothing. "Why are you making a big deal out of it?"

Jason rebuttals back with "Who said I was?"

"Ever think there's a reason for it?", Kim fires back.

There was eye for concern there; remembering back to what happened the last time they underestimated Rita. It had gotten Billy killed before despite Zordon giving up his last chance to be whole again to bring him back. The fact that he died on all of their consciences wrapped heavily on their minds every day since; Jason, in particular.

So much so that it made him think Maybe he's just trying to keep the same thing happening from us.

All that he could do though was just shrug his shoulders. That was the closest thing to an 'I guess so' that Kim could've hoped for.

"Get what I'm saying, Red? We may have super strength and speed and enough durability to punch a hole through solid walls but we're not invincible. We're still kids. Granted, we're close to graduating anyways so being teenagers hasn't exactly been a picnic but it counts."
