This Is On Me?

The mall: not exactly the most dexterous of places but it wasn't exactly worse than any other area the kids could have chose to go in the afternoon.

Bad news for the teens with attitude: Too many faces, too crowded together, so many areas of exposure, a more keen opportunity for someone to bop someone in the back of the head and no one would notice. This being only the second time they've checked the mall since yesterday, a good half of the team weren't keen on retracing their steps again because what's the point of going back there if there was no effort found the first time around?

It is the very definition of insanity: retracing the same steps over and over again while expecting a different result.

Alas, Ranger duty might as well have been labored their official job now and since every potential threat has Zordon practically forcing them ahead onto the battlefield at gunpoint, they really had no say in the matter.

Even if it was their idea.

Heading back to the mall, possibly the most densely crowded area in town since the Goldar attack, was all Kim's idea. Since it was still light out and more specifically, cramped in the middle of the day, it was probably the best time to go searching for their lucky sixth Ranger before the lobby gets crowded. Their best bet was to keep their coins firmly in pockets and actually pay attention to the vibrations this time and just hope against hope that they get lucky.

Besides, crowded home and grocery shopping are logistically one of the worst experiences you can have as a consumer.

A fact that Zack couldn't wait to chirp on about. "Why did you have us come by this late, Kim? We're practically looking for a needle in a haystack here."

Would you prefer if we did this in the dead of night? Leave us open for another attack?

No answer.

Didn't think so.

Now it was Billy's turn to interrupt as he brought about an interesting little nugget of information that wasn't brought to anyone's attention when this thing started.

When or if we find him.....or her, how are we gonna convince them.....in a public mall?

It remained a valid point to the likes of everyone.....but the leader of the pack.

Who cares? Let's just get 'em and get the hell out.

He huffs before getting off comms, an audible puff still vibrating through the speakers while everyone sits back, puzzled at the egregious lack of professionalism showcased by who's supposed to be the leader of the team.

Billy, yet again, is left barely withholding the urge to snarl, seeing his friend and leader act more and more like a frat boy within the passing days. He's left airing to his grievances and search on his own, sitting at the Krispy Kreme near the third-right entranceway.

While this left Zack near the actual dining hall, the girls were preoccupied near the movie theater. No tickets, no entry....at least as of yet.

The consideration to watch Logan was rapidly gaining traction and Kim didn't much such a thing. Find who they were looking for inside and watch a nice little escapist flick on top of that; anything to brush away the conversation from earlier. She'd have better luck tagging along with someone who's keen to notice her face nearly spazzing out.
