"MOM!I'm leaving!"I yelled from the porch.

"Okay honey, Don't forget to say Hi to Edwin!"She reminded me.

"I always do, "I muttered and unlocked my car, to drive to school.

My parents named me Dove, Because I was as beautiful as a dove, As people say so. Dove Brandon, that was what I was named. Life was going smoothly until one day. A new family shifted in our neighbors. The Thompsons. As a normal person, I should have been excited to meet them, but I was too shy,*Surprise*At that time to even go and say hi, until one day. The only son of the Thompsons, Edwin Thompson came at our door to say Hi.

And that was when I discovered, Edwin Thompson, The good boy plus the nerd of the SCHOOL?

Yeah, he goes to my school.

He is one of the hot nerds, But I don't see why girls love him!

Okay, Mark Adam and Kevin Mathews are hot. But not Edwin!

Okay, he might be handsome but I just don't like him very much...He's nice and all.

My parents simply adore him!A+ in studies a nice boy, Blah blah.

We talk, but we are not very friendly.

Lindsay my best friend just came by my side and told me, That Kevin just came and said hi.

But he had a girl by his side, Rose Andrew.

"Fine, Hey let's go to class," I said and walked away.

He nodded and started following me to the class.

I looked at Lindsay, who smiled and winked at me.

Even she wants me to set up with Edwin!!

She smiled innocently back.

"Whatever, "I muttered, and walked inside the class, the two walking behind me, and talking about something.

"Hey Mrs.Evans, "I called as I took the front seat. English was my favorite subject.

"Hey, Mrs. Evans, "Edwin took a seat behind me and greeted her, completely bored out.

I knew English was his least favorite subject, but still, he managed to score 99% in every exam including English and Maths!

Like, you don't need to score this much in maths too!

Come on, how can anyone score this much in maths? I can barely score 50% in maths!

"Edwin, your essay was really good, keep it up, "Mrs.Evans praised him while handing out the copies.

"And Dove, you did a good job too,"

I nodded, pleased with myself.

As I entered my house, I saw mum telling the servant to sweep the dining room.

"Mom?Wassup?"I asked while putting down my bag on the couch.

"Ella and Mike are coming to dinner along with Edwin," She told me.

Ella and Mike?Mr and Mrs.Thompson?

Edwin is coming to dinner, how come I didn't know?

"Now go on and get some rest, they'll come at seven...Don't forget to take a shower before you change,"

I groaned.
