"Dad, They can come after us. I know. I just know!"
"Edwin, No...They'll never.No..They'll never suspect that we're here."
"Dad. I think they are here. I've been suspecting a few suspicious activities lately."
"Come on, Ed...Just drop it."
He sat down on the couch, then dialed a number.
"Hey, Jake?"
"Yo sup man?"
"Jake, I need a favor."And he told him what he had to do tonight in short sentences.
"Oh...What?Are you all alright? If I kiss her wouldn't she like, kill me?"Jake demanded.
"No. First, you'll go to the main switches and turn off the lights. I'll go downstairs and you'll go upstairs after a few minutes. You'll kiss her and then I'd..........."
"Ok, You got this. But will you patch up, later?"He asked.
"Yes, once everything is put right."
Present
I've been dreaming on and on about that conversation I had with Jake. I feel down and I wanna kill myself.
It was nearly evening and I know that Dove had been shut in her bedroom all day long. It's all my fault.
I know I have to tell Kevin and Mark.
Half an hour later they were sitting in front of me their mouths ajar with shock.
"Woah, man...It'll be so fun. We three standing side by side and killing those shitty people."Mark said, A dreamy look in his eyes. He clearly was making a picture in his mind.
"Shut up. Edwin of course, We'll be with you. But you should tell Dove, too."Kevin looked at me.
"I don't know. I can't lose her. I know if they'll attack someone it would be Dove,"
"Oh, man...Oh, man."Mark shook his head.
"It's better you make up with her, Okay.do not tell her just now, Wait for some time and then open your heart out,"
"Okay. I'll have to think about it..."I didn't know what else to say, I stood up and went towards my bedroom window, Through which I could get a clear view of Dove's room.
She was awake, Her back was towards me and her face was buried in a pillow.
She was crying. Damn.
Then suddenly she threw away the pillow and stood up.
Her hair looked wild and I could see that she hadn't made an effort to dress up.
Gosh. I would like to kill myself.
"Call Lindsay, Now." I turned and ordered Kevin who obliged at once.
"What am I gonna say?"He mouthed.
"Tell her to come here immediately."
He nodded.
I know what I have to do.
