Lucy found herself amused with Natsu's previous words. She chuckled to herself as she smacked her handy whip on the ground, flourishing life within it. Now, everyone knew she was one of the sensible ones on her team, but at the moment, she found herself enjoying trashing the ceremony.

Her brown eyes glanced over at Gray.

She frowned when she saw him. She knew that the situation would promote a strong reaction from the boy, but not so much as unleash his Demon Slayer mode.

Something else about him confused the blonde.

Something was missing.

Carla and Happy flew over what used to be the wedding. The female cat muttered to herself annoyedly as she watched the screaming guests bolt towards the doors, or in any direction they could advance towards.

Happy on the other hand chuckled to himself as he watched the chaos. "Well, we should've seen this coming from a mile away, huh Carla?"

The Exceed sighed in response. "We should have, shouldn't we?"

Before she could add on to how spontaneous her teammates were, she felt a sharp pain sprout in her head. She hovered in the air for a second holding her head in her paws, whimpering slightly. Happy watched in worry.

"Carla!" the blue cat flew towards his companion. "Are you okay?! What's wrong?!"

Carla couldn't answer as a familiar vision was coming back to her.

It was in the library.

There was a dying man on the floor.

Next to him...was Juvia.

She was screaming and crying, but her words couldn't be made out.

She couldn't identify that man...

But that all-too familiar necklace rested on his chest as he drew his last breath.

Carla panted in relief when she felt the premonition come to an end. That was when she noticed Happy eyeing her in concern. "Carla?" The girl shook her head in reassurance. "I'm...I'm alright, Happy." But she couldn't help but let her eyes trail down to the ice wizard on the dance floor, as said mage was freezing a guard's face.

Juvia watched as the palace servants' hard work in preparing for the wedding went to waste at the disposal of new, unfamiliar wizards.

Wizards.

They all used magic.

Just like her.

"Fire Dragon...WING ATTACK!" a rosy-haired man yelled, as flames sprung from his hands in a whirl-like motion, sending the unarmed advisers flying. Juvia squinted her eyes when she realized something that shocked her.

The symbol on his shoulder...was the same on her leg.

Unconsciously, her hand went to graze the place on her thigh where it was located. As she did, she looked on over to the demonic looking man that was encasing the entire room with ice. Once her eyes landed on his form, he turned around and locked gazes with her. She felt her breath taken as she absorbed his features.
