It's over, you guys! For real this time! I honestly am so shocked that I managed to finish the book!

So I started this book umm... two and a half years ago? Hmm...it was the end of 2015. And I've finished April 2018. Just goes to show how much I procrastinate. But I can't believe how far it's gone!

I swear, I was just eating cereal one day, back when I was a young'un aspiring to be a writer, and I was just thinking "Hmmm...what if Juvia got super mad at Gray for something and ran off and met another guy and Gray got jealous?...I should so write a book like that!"

Annndddd.....well, it kinda went like that?? Just with a bunch of sinister twists and deaths?? You know what I find hilarious?

I killed all of my OCs.

All of them.

How did this even happen? Legit I knew Aldie and Victor would die, but then I just randomly killed Hazel just for amusement purposes. Am I a bad person?

Time to get to the point!

There were many moments in these past years that I honestly thought it wasn't worth it. I began to see how unoriginal my work was. Like the title itself is trash. Ice-Cold. Like that's the most basic title anyone could think of for a Gray-related fanfic. And I just didn't find the storyline too appealing, you know?

But then you guys come along and you actually READ the book! And VOTE on it! And COMMENT on it! And the truth is that that's what kept the book going! I'm so grateful to each and everyone of you guys for putting up with my laziness and my carelessness, and taking time to view my work! I've learned to be more confident in myself and to just write for the fun of it, because at the end of the day, if I'm not proud of my own work, it's meaningless.

But I can say for a fact that I am proud of this story! Sure it had a shaky beginning where I was a new writer and couldn't spell or grammar for the life of me, but I really think I improved, and that makes me so happy!

But most importantly, you guys are awesome, and I love all of you, and you all deserve the very best!!! Thanks so much for sticking around!

All of the characters I have worked with in the making of this book belong to Hiro Mashima, of course. And it's thanks to these wonderful characters that writing this has been so much fun!

Imma be honest. Back when I started writing this book, Gruvia was like a 'meh' couple for me. I shipped them, but I wasn't crazy about them, and I feel like I was forced into shipping them simply because that's how the story was gonna go, and I knew it.

But as I went along through the book, as well as the manga for Fairy Tail, I began to appreciate the ship. It really changed my perspective on Gruvia, and now I see how they really were meant for each other! Writing this book has made me a lunatic Gruvia shipper with no life, and I AM PROUD.

And now for the news. I'm writing a new book! Let me clarify that it IS NOT A SEQUEL TO ICE-COLD. There will be no sequel to this book. I feel like that would defeat the purpose of it and I truly think it's better off as a stand-alone.

But I have great plans for this new book, which should be released soon! *cough cough* in another few months *cough cough* Soon! And guess what...

It's a Fairy Tail Next Generation Fanfiction!!! YAAAAAYYYY!!! FT BABIES!! I'm so excited for this!

So here's the summary:

Through the thin and thick, through the sun and rain, through the day and night, our heroes have never faltered. With every challenge, demand, and hardship these wizards are tested with, they never fail to stand their ground. With every cost given and every sacrifice made, they gain a new strength each time. Every drop of blood, sweat, or tear shed by these formidable warriors make them stronger. They are the legendary, and seemingly everlasting, Fairy Tail.

However, the wizards find themselves in a situation unlike any other. When the main squad of the guild nearly fail a job, they are given a hand by some new wizards, with extraordinary abilities in combat. Quite the skilled mages. But what the wizards found to be truly shocking about this group...was that they were the next generation of Fairy Tail. Their children.

Feelings, relationships, and trust is tested as the wizards are forced to interact with their 'kids.' But it is clear that there were many skeletons in the closet. Many rocks to turn over. Many secrets to uncover. How did the teenagers end up in the past? How were they going to return?

Were they PLANNING to return?

Meet Nashi, Storm, Rin, Reiki, Diana, Gail, Layla, and Luna as they trial through their journey, bond with each other and their families, and fight for their right to return home. But when they say 'right to return home,' what exactly do they mean by that?

Find out in this book, Our Time Spent Together by SafireSammi. Read as these mages suffer, endure, and conquer to ensure a bright and shining future.

Soooo....what do you think???

This story has been one of the earliest ideas I had for a book, quite some time before I even began writing on Wattpad. And the fact that I finally get the chance to share it with you guys is so exciting!

So if you enjoyed Ice-Cold and decided that I'm a decent author that somewhat deserves some time from you, then stay alert of its release! :)

And if you hated Ice-Cold and decided that I'm a terrible author that isn't worth your time, then by all means feel free to leave and I'm sorry for my stupidity. :)

Once again, thank you so much for everything and I hope you stay around for Our Time Spent Together! (WARNING: I suck at covers and the one I currently have for it is trash, so just be aware of that)
