God I'm so extra. Anyways, I hope you're all doing well! Maybe? Sort of? Just a little? Cool!

So I have news.

And it's up for you guys to decide whether it's good or bad.

*deep breath*

This is the final chapter of Ice-Cold....I think. That's what I'm planning.

I know there was no heads up or anything but that's because I wasn't truly sure when the final chapter would be written. But I'm deciding that this will be it and I'm sorry if it's too sudden.

But I wanna make that up to you! So lemme ask: Do you guys want an epilogue? Because if everyone wants that I'll TOTALLY cram my brain all night for creative ideas to give ya'll a good one cause you deserve it! XD

The final disclaimer: Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima. I own nothing except for the plot and a handful of the characters. All the amazing characters I've worked with while writing this fan fiction are owned by Hiro alone. It's his wonderful characters that have made this so exciting and worthwhile.

Please enjoy!

Irony is a funny thing. If you think about it, there is humor in events that transpire in contradiction to anticipation. It's unexpected and somewhat amusing. Usually, that is.

What was ironic about this situation was the rain. The unrelenting, bombarding, furious rain that pounded over the roofs of people's homes and shops. The rain that was gliding in streams across the streets. The dark clouds confined the city from above, and thunder cackled with menace.

Rain just as horrendous as this first had begun when Juvia had run away. An event that seemed so long ago, as if a distant memory. The Fairy Tail wizards took off in search of their missing friend and to cease the livid rain that poured over Fiore in her absence. But now with the water woman returned to the guild safe and sound, she had brought the rain once more with her.

Fairy Tail was no longer as bustling and merry as it normally was. All the members sat around in silence, chatter was rare. Natsu had become quiet and isolated. Lucy sat beside him with a heavy heart. Erza couldn't find it in her to eat her strawberry cake, as well as Happy with his precious fish.

Even other wizards were behaving in ways contrary to their usual selves. Master Makarov often stayed in his office, never coming out.

But the worst of them had to have been Juvia.

Said woman sat on a wooden chair, staring at the floor. Her face was devoid of emotion, but one could see the tearstains trailing down her cheeks. A calm breeze blew through the slightly ajar window of the room she was in, causing her to shiver. She was broken and in despair.

Slowly, she rose her head up. Strands of her ocean-blue hair covered her face, but she didn't bother to tuck them away. Her eyes looked on over to the figure laying on the bed in front of her.
