Konichiwa minna! Welcome to Ice-Cold! My second WattPad story and it's a Gruvia tale! I hope you enjoy, and I hope it comes out well.

Life is a precious thing that everyone who has one should cherish. Many take it for granted. They use as an opportunity to waste. An opportunity to make a change, to make better oneself, but instead, used to cause corruption or worse. However, within these stormy clouds are a few beams of sunlight, people that use this chance wisely. Among these few is a woman, who's been shut out her entire life. A woman who thought she'd never find where she belonged. And once she did, she made the most of each and every single day. And she owed it all to a person whom she kept very close to her heart...

Morning conquered the area. A bright, sunny morning where the birds would sing to their hearts content, activity would arouse among the warm golden rays that showered peace upon anything it touched.

These brilliant rays grew even more eager to explore as they covered more and more, finally reaching a lovely dorm on top of a grassy hill. On it was a sign that read 'FAIRY HILLS.'

Despite the many windows it could've chosen, the sun rays felt intrigued to scour one particular home. It peeked nosily through the slightly open, blue curtains of a nice and tidy dorm room. Upon further inspection, you would see an asleep figure laying peacefully in the queen-sized bed centered in the room. The eager sunlight searched and found the figure of the sleeping woman.

Once the beams lightly hit her face, her peaceful expression scrunched up in a grouchy frown. Her eyes squinted open with slight annoyance in being woken up so rudely. She lifted her arm resting on her forehead and gradually widened her eyes, growing accustomed to the bright light.

She had large, dark- very dark- blue eyes. Her ocean blue hair was fanned out in all directions as her head lay still on the pillow. Beside her was a little doll, with a homemade appearance, of a boy with only boxers and had navy blue-black hair. At the sight of the little object, a content smile formed on the woman's face. She reached out for the doll and clutched it adoringly in her soft hands.

She held her arms up high above her face, with the doll looking down at her. "Good morning, my beloved Gray. Did you sleep well?" the woman asked. She then placed her thumbs firmly against his neck and used both her index fingers to push from the back of his head up and down. Up and down. As if he was nodding. At her own conscious delusion, the girl's smile grew wider and she rubbed it against her pale cheek in affection. "I'm SO glad to hear that!" she squealed to herself.

Without another moment to spare, the woman threw the covers off her and leaped off the bed, never dropping or letting go of the doll that was apparently extremely important to her.

This woman was none other than Juvia Lockser. Age eighteen, water wizard from the amazing guild of Fairy Tail in the beautiful town of Magnolia.

Juvia strolled over to the bathroom, still grasping the Gray doll in her hand. About ten minutes later, she walked out, sparkling like morning dew, due to her shining, but dripping wet hair. She had a towel wrapped around her nude body.

She went to her drawers and pulled out her usual daily outfit. Her long blue dress coat with two long slits on either side of her legs, one revealing the blue guild emblem on her left thigh. She placed her signature hat on her head after drying her hair. She stood in front of the mirror analyzing herself. When she felt she was ready to greet the day, she walked out of her dorm and into the hall, but not without giving another one of her many Gray stuffed dolls a tender peck on the cheek.

The water mage gracefully descended the steps into the Fairy Hills dorm breakfast room. There she met with all the other women living in the dorm, all members of Fairy Tail. A redheaded armored woman turned and smiled at the entering wizard. "Good morning, Juvia," she greeted.

Juvia smiled at her. "Good morning, Erza. Everyone," she replied with equal warmness. A young girl tugged lightly on her sleeve, making her look down at a thirteen year old girl with long blue hair and light brown eyes. "Hi, Wendy," Juvia said. Wendy smiled. "Hello! I have your breakfast ready for you!" she said, holding up a plate of blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup.

It doesn't take a genius to know that Juvia had a thing with the color blue.

"Thank you!" she said with delight, as she took the plate and sat down at one of the small tables to eat her breakfast. As she did that, the other women chatted amongst themselves. "So everyone!" Levy spoke up. "You guys got any plans for today?"

Without a second of hesitation, Juvia yelled, "See my charming prince, Gray!"

"Why do I feel like I would've known that?" the bookworm said sarcastically to herself. "What about the rest of you?" A brunette sitting upon a barrel raised a bottle of liquor. "DRINK TILL I DROP!" the drunkard Cana yelled. Levy sighed. "So predictable...."

Erza wiped her mouth with a napkin and set down a small plate that once held a slice of strawberry cake. "Wendy, Carla, and I were planning to go on a job together."

"That's right!" Wendy recalled. "We should take Natsu, Happy, Lucy, and Gray along!" Juvia gasped in surprise. Suddenly, she was clinging to the dragon slayer's leg. "Please, please, PLEASE NOT GRAY-SAMA! I understand you're all a team and everything  but just for today, can you leave him with me?" Juvia pleaded. Wendy looked bewildered. "Er-uhm-uhhh..okay?" she stuttered. Erza nodded. "Of course, Juvia!" she said sincerely. "After all, it's your anniversary, isn't it?"

Juvia leaped with joy. "Indeed! This marks the day when Gray and I met 619 days ago!" Erza nodded approvingly. "How special. You should give him something," she suggested. Wendy had a weird expression. "Here we are all over again..." Carla said, shaking her head exasperatedly. "If we're not taking Gray, might as well leave Natsu, Happy, and Lucy out of the loop, too," the Exceed suggested. Wendy agreed.

"Give him something?" suddenly Juvia looked quite sad. "Last time I did that, it didn't go so well."

Erza gave a sympathetic glance. "I know, but it's not your fault. You didn't know it was the day of his Master's death. Today's a new day!" Juvia looked encouraged. She nodded. "Yes! I'll give it another shot! This time will be better, I'm sure!"

"Then it's settled. You can have Gray all to yourself. We won't be taking the other three either. Besides, I'm sure Natsu and Lucy would want to spend the day together as well.." Erza said. Wendy giggled. "Probably," Carlsa agreed. "The two obviously like each other."

"Now, ain't that the truth?" Cana said. Erza and Wendy left. Juvia followed after. On the way, she was thinking to herself about what to give her beloved Gray...

And that's Chapter 1! Just to clarify, this is NOT a sequel to my previous story, NaLu Vs. NaLi.

I hope you enjoyed! Please comment!
