Agent Washington POV

"She's not the enemy." Carolina says sternly. 

"She is working with them. How is she not?" I retorted.

So I wasn't hallucinated back at the canyon. Alaska is still alive, but working for the Space Pirates and cheating on me with that Felix guy. I'm happy that she is alive of course. Overjoyed even. But seeing her like that was.. heartbreaking. Carolina and Epsilon have been trying to break me of thinking she isn't the enemy when she clearly was. I mean she commanded SQUADS to kill the Feds like since when did she changed?!

"Carolina, I think it's time to give up and get ready for the trips to the crash sites." Epsilon says.

She sighs. "Alright." She looks at me. "She still loves you Wash. It may not seem like it, but she does." She walks away to the mini armory area to get some teleportation cubes.

"Believe it when I see it." I mutter.

Space Mercs HQ - Briefing Room
Agent Alaska POV

"We got company at Crashsite Alpha." Beta says. "It looks to be the Blues and the Freelancers."

"The Blues, the Freelancer, and the traitor huh?" Felix says. "Who's the nearest squad?"

I quickly grab a datapad. "Miller's squad is the closest."

"You know what to do princess." He grins.

"Bet." I grab my comm. "Miller this is Command. Come in."

"This is Miller." Came the reply.

"The Blues are at Crashsite Alpha. Go over and take care of them will you?"

"On it boss. Miller out."

I toss my comm onto the table. "Done."

"That's my girl." He quickly kisses my cheek before I could react.

"Ew I got Felix germs on me." I whined and tried to rub it off. He laughs and wraps his arms around my waist from behind. He laid his chin on my shoulder and says, "Once this is over I want to take you on a vacation somewhere. Somewhere where we don't have to worry about anything and just relax."

"We don't know how long this war will last though." I point out. "Don't promise me something that won't happen."

"I'll do my best to make it happen." He promises anyway.

"Hey lovebirds, I hate to break the moment you two are having but Ghost, you got an incoming transmission and Locus needs you at the Docking Bay Felix."

"Ugh fine." Felix pulls away. "I'll catch you later princess. Love ya."

"Love ya too Felix." I say as he walks out of the room.

I wiped off Felix's kiss from my face. "Not."

Beta appears beside me. "You two seemed very comfortable."

"Shut up and just bug the room." I say before grabbing my comm again. "Alaska here."

"A, it's Church. One of your soldiers named Zachary Miller teleported back with us to base. Carolina and Wash are talking/interrogating to him."

"Crap.." I whisper to myself. "Felix just went to the Docking Bay to see Locus." I say. "Maybe this is the reason why."

"Maybe." Church says thoughtfully.

"I'll try to find out what they are doing." I reply. "But be prepared for anything. I heard that they are tracking you somehow."

"Wait WHAT. How are they-" I heard a gunshot in the background and someone shouting for Epsilon. "Hey I'm going to have to talk to you later. They found us." Church says rapidly.
