Kya beizzat karoge mujhe us mehfil Mai jo kabhi meri na thi,
Jismai me hokar bhi kabhi Shamil na thi,
Fhir kyu hua mera jikr us mehfil Mai,
Jise meri koi fikr na thi,
Shayad us mehfil ki Ronak me thi,
Apni ruswaii ke Baad kuch aur dekhne ki khwaish na thi,
Zindagi ke liye aur koi numaish na thi,
Aandhero Mai meri rihaish thi,
Pukkar rahi thi dusri chhor par zindagi ki shayad koi aur sazish thi,
Waha Jane ki aazmaish lekin ab hum mai aur na thi....
