The Wedding Part Three...The Reception

CYN

I can't believe that I am now officially MRS. ERICA MENA!!! It sucks that I can't tell the world about this because of the show but I guess this secret will have to be kept to ourselves. 

So our reception was kept small because...well, you know...that damn show. I mean it's fine because it's more intimate just like I like it. See Erica is the one that likes all the "BIG HOOPLA" so I'm sure once we are able to tell the world, she's gonna wanna go all out...my baby

Anyway, we are at this very very elegant reception hall. Everything is decorated in all white. The tables have beautiful lily center peices. There are our favorite scented candles that surrounding the room. We have a four peice orchestra playing for us.  Just think, we did all of this in just one day!!!! #RespectTheBreadWinners

We are all sitting at the table just laughing and talking about the wedding. Erica wanted to talk to me in private so we got up and she led me to the other side of the room.

ME~Hey babe.
HER~Hey Mrs. Mena
ME~I like the way that sounds
HER~Good because you are stuck with it for the rest of our lives.
ME~I'm ok with that! So what did you want to talk to me about?
HER~Honestly, I really didn't have anything important to talk about. We haven't had a moment to ourselves today. I'm sorry.
ME~No baby, it's ok. It's actually really sweet.
HER~Ok. So, how do you feel?
ME~Words can't express how I feel right now. I can't believe that we are actually married!!!!
HER~I know right!? It feels so right. I can't wait for the honeymoon.
ME~Me either. It sucks that we can't go until after the show is done.
HER~Well, it doesn't really matter when we go on our honeymoon because everyday with you feels like our honeymoon!!!
ME~Awww babe, come here.

I give HER a kiss. She then starts to kiss me back. Uh oh...I know what this kind of kiss means. She's turng on the "MENA MAGIC"!!!

ME~Babe, babe babe, slow down.
HER~Baabbee why???
ME~So you are using my whining against me huh?
HER~Is it working or nah!? lol
ME~ Nah lol
HER~Ok fine. But trust and believe that tonight its gonna be on and crackin'!!!!
ME~I wouldn't have it any other way!!! Let's get back to our guests. The quicker we get this over with, the quicker we can get back to what we were just doing.
HER~Ok.

ERICA

So we are back mingling with our guests when my bestfriend Albee stood up and said that he wanted to give a speech

ALBEE

I've known Erica for quite some time now and I've never seen HER this happy EVER. She has been through a lot in HER life but since she's been with Cyn, I have seen more of a calmer Erica and I just want to thank you Cyn for that. I've grown to love you like I love Erica. The two of you compliment each other. You show us what true love really means. You give us all hope. So Erica and Cyn, I wish you both many many many years of happiness and marital bliss.

ERICA

Everybody was clapping and cheering after Albee's speech. Then the traditional tapping on the glass started. You know when someone taps on their glass, the newlyweds have to kiss? Yeah, so I guess everybody wanted to see us kiss because they just kept tapping!!! lol

So after that two minutes of clinking lol King wanted to say something.

KING

So all I wanted to say is that ITS ABOUT TIME!!!! lol

Erica

After he said that, everybody just started cracking up as he goes back to his seat lol!!! That's my boy. Keep it short and sweet lol. I love that guy.

So Cyn's dad was yelling "SPEECH SPEECH SPEECH" so I guess thats its Cyn and I's turn

ME~We just want to thank you guys for taking the time out to come to our wedding.
HER~Yeah, you guys have no idea how much it means to us.
ME~We are so blessed to have good family and friends that supports our love for one another.  We appreciate that so much.
HER~We are also so glad that both sides of the family gets along lol.
ME~So with all of this said, we love each and everyone of you...thank you

The reception was coming to an end and then Cyn pulls me to the side

HER~Hi wife
ME~Hey wife
HER~I have a surprise for you.
ME~Ok. What is it?
HER~Close your eyes

CYN

Erica closes, HER eyes and I motioned the one person that she admired the most to come in.  This person starts singing "BABY I LOVE YOU" and Erica opens HER eyes and HER mouth just dropped. Yep, I got Jennifer Lopez to come to surprise Erica!!!! If you guys didn't know, Erica won a Jennifer Lopez look alike contest a long time ago and actually met HER.

ME~Erica, can I have this dance?
HER~Of course baby.

I extended my hand for HER to take it. She grabbed my hand and I led HER to the middle of the floor. We looked into each other eyes for some time and then she finally said something...

HER~ How did you get Jennifer Lopez to come here?
ME~ You know, I just used my "MENA MAGIC"!!!! lol
HER~Lol...ok ok ok. I taught you well!!!!
ME~Whatever lol
HER~I love you so much baby. This is the best surprise ever.
ME~I love you too. But babe, can you call me by my name?
HER~Oh, you'll hear your name a lot later!!! lol
ME~ No you perv lol
HER~I'm just kidding Cynthia Mena
ME~Thank you Erica Mena

After the song was over, Jennifer came over to congratulate us. She wished us well and apologized thatbshe couldn't stay because she had to go and catch a flight.

We said bye to our guests as Erica and I get into our car to head back home.

ME~Thank you for today Erica. Everything turned out great
