Jungkook caught a quick glance at the raiders before he began to run away. He couldn't make out any particular details, except for the large pack of dogs that were let loose.
He ran in absolute fear, watching the dogs viciously attack the others that were frantically running for their lives. Jungkook wondered for a moment if Jimin were okay, but his thought was interrupted by an excruciating pain in the left side of his leg. Before he could glance down to the site of the agonizing pain, Jungkook felt himself being dragged away by an unknown presence, to which he assumed was a raider.
The younger came back to his senses when the cold breeze of the outdoors hit him. He wondered where he could be taken to, and then at last minute, he was pushed into a creaky, worn-down shed. The shed was completely pitch black, but Jungkook still attempted to make out the person sitting in front of him.
"We have to be really quiet, otherwise the raiders will get in here and take us away, okay?"
Jungkook recognized the voice immediately, it was almost too familiar too him.
"Taehyung?"
"Yeah, now don't talk while I bandage you up- you really lost a lot of blood."
The latter wanted to reply, but he obeyed the older's words as he started to notice the effects of his blood loss. Jungkook began to feel weaker, but he seemed to quickly forget that, along with everything else, when Taehyung suddenly removed his shirt. The younger dazed out as he gazed at the other's torso; he hadn't noticed that a few minutes went by until Taehyung finished bandaging his wound.
"Alright, now we just sit tight- but don't relax- I'm afraid you'll pass out, we'll just keep conversation to occupy us."
It was silent for a moment before Taehyung spoke again.
"So you've lived here all your life?"
Jungkook couldn't help but to chuckle at what he believed to be such a ridiculous question.
"Yeah, what kind of question is that?"
"A question with a follow-up."
"And what's that?"
"If you spend all your time in here, have you ever thought about what's outside of 'this?'"
Taehyung uses his arms to gesture a giant bubble. Jungkook pondered the question for a moment, trying to decide on a certain answer.
"I mean, yeah. I feel like everyone does, do you?"
The older nodded his head once (although it wasn't visible in the dark).
"Of course, because that's where I live- out there we call it 'The Wilds.'"
"You really live out there?"
"Mhm-"
"Hmm... The Wilds..."
Jungkook repeated as he imagined the world outside of his little town. He let his gaze move up toward Taehyung, who met his stare directly so that the two locked eyes. It was the latter who took the initiative to lean in first, and then Jungkook followed suit until Taehyung pushed his lips onto the youngers. It was a simple kiss, but it was one that comprised of feeling.
Jungkook felt convinced that he'd come down with deliria after rushing through his emotions with Taehyung, although he wasn't too sure that he was concerned.
'It will kill me, and I don't care.'
