SUZY

The dinner ended quickly from what I have in mind. I thought it would last for a whole night but, no? People started to got up and leave minutes after Fei spoke up and greeted Sehun.

I pouted in confusion. What the fuck is going on?

As soon as we got up and was ready to leave, too, my phone bzzed and I quickly fish it out of my purse. It was a text message.

Chen – today

Go to the event hall to the right. And bring Sehun, too.

Oh, so that's why they all left early. There is a surprise. I grabbed Sehun's wrist and literally dragged him towards the event hall that Chen was talking about. The moment we've arrived and slowly opened the door—it was so dark. Is Chen trying to trick us?

"Yah, what is this, why'd you bring me here and why is it so dark—" Sehun was cut off by a loud-roaring sound of his friends greeting him a happy birthday. It was a simple surprise and a laptop together with a projector was right in the middle of the room.

Sehun just stood right beside me and not letting go of my hand, still shocked and surprised at the same time.

"At least say something?!?!" Chanyeol shouted in the crowd. Sehun went back to reality and shook his head.

"This was so damn unexpected and...cheesy. But thank you," Sehun walked towards them, smiling at each and everyone. Minyoung winked at me and I smiled in return.

"Now, there's someone who wants to greet you all the way from America," Sehun sat infront of the laptop and seconds after—a couple flashed on the screen and I realized it was Sehun's parents. He gasped and got teary-eyed.

"How do we do this?"

"Is it on?"

Sehun chuckled at his parents trying to figure out technology.

"It is on! Just say something,"

A deep voice said over the screen, which I believe is Sehun's brother—and his parents beamed.

"Sehun-ah! Aigoo, our baby is not a baby anymore. Stop growing up, will you?"

"Yah, atleast visit us here,"

"Happy birthday, from us and from your brother. Hope we could see you soon, we love you, son, take care."

And with that, his parents waved a goodbye and the screen went black. Sehun couldn't hold his tears back and just sobbed. Everyone went silent and just looked at Sehun. No one could break this sweet moment.

I walked towards Sehun and pulled him up into a hug. I patted his back and chuckled, "Aigoo, you little cry baby." He hiccuped and didn't stop.

"Yah, you shouldn't cry at times like this, let's celebrate!" Chanyeol shouted and with that, everyone went wild. The small, rented room instantly became a nightclub.

"Happy birthday, Sehun!" Everyone cooed. He pulled away from my hug, smiling widely and wiping his little tears away.
