Drew opens her eyes, the trace of a faint smile on her lips. She turns to look at the other side of the bed. An absence of presence can still be felt, even after all this time.

Maybe it was all a dream and Reve never came back.

When Drew sits up against her pillow and looks to the left, she is assured it was reality. The amount of alcohol bottles she has next to her bed was just confirmation.

She considers herself lucky that she's never had to deal with a hangover. She heaves out a sigh and then stands. After a small stretch, she makes her way over to the window. Drew opens the blinds, revealing the Wedding cards on the window ledge she could never bring herself to remove.

Glancing at the clock, Drew realises she needs to be in work in less than an hour. Knowing that she is in no state to work, she takes her phone from her bedside table and rings in to call in sick.

~A Short While Later~

Drew almost trips over a pile of clothes at the bottom of the stairs. "What the-" A vivid memory of a drunk Drew emptying Reve's cupboard and throwing all of his clothes from the top of the stairs comes to her mind.

She chooses to deal with that later. Right now, she just needs her coffee. So she makes her way to the kitchen.

A small note left in the middle of the island catches her attention. She makes her way over, lifts it in her fingers, and reads it.

I'm not sure what to say. I guess I'll start with... I'm sorry for showing up unexpected and for not showing up sooner. That was a bad start yesterday.

Anyway, I just wanted you to have some way to contact me. I get that you need your space, so I'll leave it up to you to contact me. Turn this sheet over to find my number and address.

Until then...
Reve

A knock on the door makes Drew jump out of her daze. She sighs as she realises that she never made her coffee and even contemplates not answering it.

However, she decides against it and swings open the door to see Finn.

"You're alive. That's a good start." He says as he makes his way past Drew and heads towards the kitchen. He stops in his tracks and takes a minute to study the pile of clothes at the bottom of the stairs.

Dismissing what he just saw, he continues to the kitchen and seats himself on a stool in front of the island.

"Morning to you too." Drew mumbles. She goes back to making her coffee and pulls two cups out of the cupboard, knowing Finn will also join her.

"So, you haven't been answering my calls." Finn starts. "Then, you called into work sick. When you looked fine yesterday. Well, you didn't look fine, you were crying and- You know what I mean."

Drew still has her back towards him and empties the kettle into the cups. "Okay."

"I'm trying to tell you that you have me worried here." A sigh can be heard from Finn. "And what was that about yesterday? We were supposed to go out for drinks with Sky. You were all up for it until someone showed up at your door."

Rolling her eyes, Drew added sugar to both the cups and stirred them. She knew Finn couldn't see but she was sure he knew of her current facial expressions.

"What happened? Did a ghost from your past turn up and remind you of Reve?" He questioned.

Drew immediately turned around with a scoff. "You could say that. How did you know?" She was curious to know how he knew Reve had showed up at her door last night.
