"Where is he? Where's Damian?" The mob of men looked on at Drew in panic as she held one of their men at gunpoint. She had her arm wrapped around his neck, with a gun pointed at his temple.

"Let him go." Damian stood on the step of the front porch in his lavish black suit.

Drew turned around and faced the pool behind her so that she could push the man she had in her grip into the pool. He entered with a splash and his expensive suit... It would no longer be considered expensive.

"Gladly." She muttered, earning glares from the rest of the men. Damian gave a disapproving look to the men when they started to move forward.

"You are to leave us be." He ordered the men firmly. "I will be in the back garden if you need me."

Glancing back at the man she pushed into the pool, she felt a proud gleam when he climbed out with the help of a few other men. He had a raging look on his face, but he was ordered to leave Drew alone.

Damian led the way around the side of the house to the back with Drew following. It was a luxorious mansion and Drew couldn't help but gaze at all the details in view. Maybe it was her way of distracting her mind, as she knew there was going to be a revalation that she needed to prepare herself for. It's not that she wasn't eager to know, she had a sense of denial within her. If it wasn't Damian White, who else was it?

"Do you know who it was?" Drew found the courage to speak. It wasn't that she was intimidated, rather, she was afraid of the answer.

~Flashback~

"Why didn't you just tell me?" Reve asks with hurt in his eyes.

Slightly hesitant, Drew answers. "I was scared. I don't know anymore if I want to know the truth." She can feel her heart pulling. "Is this it? Are you going to leave?" She manages to ask in a small whisper.

Drew braces herself because all throughout her life, people left. It was the innevitable. She had a feeling that she would lose Reve eventually, could this be it?

"Over this?" Reve questions. Drew nods, causing him to sigh. He makes his way over to her and sits on the bed next to her, holding her hand. "No. I just wish you would've confided in me. You didn't need to hide it from me. I get it, stuff like this happens but there's room for me and your family."

"Maybe I should stop looking. I mean, it's too late now and maybe... Maybe they're better off being elsewhere." Drew rambles. "I can't believe my parent's would have actually done this."

Reve takes the tear stained letter from Drew's hand and reads it. "Well, it says right here that they did. Your mum cheated on your dad, got pregnant and he forced her to give the baby away."

"Thanks for simplifying it." Drew mutters. "Uncle Sebastian knew I'd find this one day. He wanted me to know. Honestly though, I think that they're probably better off without me."

"Why are you viewing this as a bad thing?" Reve asks.

In a puzzled manor, Drew looks at him. "I'm not."

"You have tears coming down your cheeks." He states. "You are."

"That's just because I'm thinking about how different my life would have been if I had a sibbling. Maybe it wouldn't have sucked as much." She explains.

Suddenly understanding her sadness, Reve nods. "Or maybe they would have been treated even worse. I mean, you were his daughter and look how your father treated you. Maybe it was for the best."

"You're right. I think I'm going to let this go. I have all the family that I want right here." She looks up at Reve and leans on his shoulder.

Half torn, Reve knows that Drew longs for a family. If she has a brother or sister out there, she would want to get to know them. He knows she's only giving up looking for her sibbling so that Reve can have priority in her life. As much as he appreciates it, he knows that he has to find her only hope of blood family left.

~Present Day~

With a nod of his head, Damian confirmed her question. "I must say, I wasn't expecting you to show up here of all places. It's a wonder how you managed to track me here. I underestimated you."

"I'm sorry for wrongly accusing you." Drew admitted.

"It pained me because Sebastian, he was like a father figure to me. He was more than just my partner. I wanted to avenge him but ever since then, I made it my mission to find out who it was. After that, I broke the law in many ways because I was always goin to be on the run from then on." Damian hastened his pace. "As for accusing me, it's alright. The evidence did point to me. I had been framed very carefully. It was done by a professional, what can I say?" He continued.

Drew stopped in her tracks and stood next to the pool. "Who was it? Tell me who framed you?"

Now, a great distance apart from Drew, Damian turned back to face her. "It's Skylar. Skylar Rose."

Suddenly, the colour from Drew's face drained. Surely, she couldn't have heard correctly?
