A long silence was faded out when Drew finally replied back. "So you came for revenge. You never came back for me..."

"You know that's not true!" Reve said deffensively. "Drew, come on."

Biting the side of her cheek, she shook her head and stood up from the bench. She was ready to head to the car but was stopped by Reve's arms turning her around and pulling her into a sudden kiss.

Taken by surprise, Drew slightly pushed Reve away and cut it short. She gave a short stare. "Not like this. I don't even know you anymore." She whispered sadly.

"Then get to know me." Reve was quick to respond. "Tonight. That's all I need. Give me a chance, I'm still your husband." He tried to convince her.

Drew shook her head, almost trying to convince herself. "You're not my husband anymore..."

"Is that why you still wear that ring on your finger?" Reve asked rather annoyed. "I'm still wearing mine too." He held up his hand for her to see, specs of light from the moon captured in the emerald diamond.

After giving it some thought, Drew finally gave in. "Okay, one night. You only have tonight. Promise me you'll stop pestering me after tonight if I don't want things to go back to the way they were?" She made a condition.

"I can't do that. I'll always fight for us." Reve interwined their fingers together.

~Flashback~

"You need to let go of this vendetta!" Reve yells as he's pacing back and forth.

The newly engaged couple find themselves arguing drastically for the first time. Drew has a sense of fear that things are on the verge of ending between them.

"Don't you understand? I need to avenge my uncle!" Drew tries to justify herself.

Reve stops his pacing and stands frozen. "That little girl lost her life today." His voice is small. "Because you disobeyed orders. Because you are so set out on revenge, you're ruining everything!"

"I didn't know she was going to die. I thought it was only Mason, there was no sign of backup." Drew doesn't bother wiping the tears making their way down her face. "If I could go back and save her, I would... I would, Reve."

A sigh escapes Reve's lips and as he looks on at the sight besides him, he can't help but make his way over to Drew and sit besides her, pulling her into a hug.

"I know Drew. I do." He dries her tears with the sleeve of his sweater. "There's going to be so many more little girls who you need to save. If this were to happen again, you need to make the right choice."

Drew squeezes her eyes shut and nods. "You're right. I'll let go. For us and for everyone else." She looks at Reve and gives a slight smile. "I have you now, I don't need revenge."

A small pause follows before Drew whispers through the silence. "I don't want to fight with you."

"I don't want to fight with you either. I only want to fight for us." Reve whispers back, interwining both their fingers together.

~Present Day~

As the evening has passed, Drew and Reve found themselves playing arcade games on the pier.

"I don't need you to win me a teddy, I can do that all by myself." Drew shruggs and takes the air pistol the owner of the stall handed to her.

The owner gives a weird look before moving aside. "What's his problem? Never seen a woman holding a gun before?" Reve mumbles so that only Drew can hear.
