Third Person's POV
Agent McCall sits across from Monroe, and next to Nolan. He reaches to his phone and presses record.
"Apparently, Jiang and Tierney escaped from their transport van last night." Agent McCall says.
"And also put a Sheriff's deputy in the hospital during their escape." Monroe says.
"I'm hearing the wounds were probably self-inflicted." Agent McCall says. "Nolan, any idea where they'd be?"
"Why would he?" Monroe asks.
"You mind letting him talk?" Agent McCall says.
"Uh, I'm supposed to be in class, so..." Nolan says.
"You can be late." Agent McCall says. "When was the last time you saw Jiang and Tierney?" Nolan looks up at Monroe, who nods slightly.
"At the Sheriff's Station." Nolan answers.
"Jiang... he was a friend of yours, wasn't he?" Agent McCall asks.
"You don't have to answer any questions." Monroe says to Nolan.
"If he needed a place to hide, would you help him?" Agent McCall asks.
"We aren't, we aren't friends anymore." Nolan says.
"Did something happen between you two?" Agent McCall asks.
"No." Nolan says.
"But you know where he is, don't you, Nolan?" Agent McCall says.
"We're done here. Nolan, get to class." Monroe says, and Nolan leaves the office. "I'm not going to let you harass a student." Monroe says to Agent McCall.
"But you'll put a gun in his hands." Agent McCall says.
"I'm teaching him to protect himself." Monroe says. "Apparently, the FBI can't."
"He's not the one in danger here. Those missing kids are." Agent McCall says.
"Those missing kids are the real killers. We both know that. But since you're here alone, I'm guessing that your bosses don't believe that, either." Monroe says. Agent McCall looks up at her sharply. "What's wrong? Can't tell the FBI exactly what you're investigating?"
"Something like that." Agent McCall says.
"Then why are you still here?" Monroe asks.

"Here are the FFLs that you wanted, all up to date." Gerard says, handing Agent McCall a folder.
"What's this?" Agent McCall asks, pointing to a tag.
"The price. 10% off, if you're interested." Gerard says. Agent McCall looks around the warehouse curiously.
"What's with all the firepower, Gerard?" Agent McCall asks.
"I'm a federally licenced weapons wholesaler. Some people like to feel safe." Gerard says. "My staff and I sell peace of mind."
"Your EDD roster says that you have 30 employees." Agent McCall says. "I'm looking at enough weapons to arm 3,000."
"This is how I make my living." Gerard says.
"What about your security?" Agent McCall asks.
"There are a dozen employees on the premises during business hours. Cameras keep everything under a 24-hour watch, and our surveillance room monitors land, cellular, and online communications within the building at all times." Gerard says.
