Third Person's POV

Chris Argent climbs into a car, and turns to face him, looking down at the gun that was pointed at him.

"Is that really necessary?" Chris asks.

"An Argent asks me to meet him alone in the middle of the night? I bring a gun." Gilberto says. "Now, how about you put yours on the dashboard where I can see it. Slowly, please." Chris pulls out his gun and sets it on the dashboard.

"Good?" Chris asks.

"Let's not forget the sidearm in your waistband." Gilberto says. Chris puts the gun on the dashboard. "The blade in your sleeve?" Gilberto says.

"You think I have a knife up my sleeve?" Chris asks. Gilberto gives him a look, and Chris sighs before placing the knife on the dashboard. "You wanna leave me completely defenseless?"

"You're lucky I'm not handcuffing you to the door." Gilberto says.

"May I?" Chris asks. He pulls out an envelope and hands it to Gilberto. Gilberto looks inside.

"You're trying to insult me with a bribe?" Gilberto asks.

"It's payment for anyone willing to give information." Chris says.

"You're gonna need more than this if you want anyone to talk, and it's not about greed." Gilberto says.

"Fear?" Chris asks.

"Superstition." Gilberto says.

"What kind?" Chris asks.

"You don't want to know." Gilberto says.

"Capitao, I came here specifically to find out things I don't want to know. Tell me what everyone's so afraid of down here." Chris says. "You might be surprised at how open-minded I can be."

"It began with a mass murder. We found twelve bodies, no suspects, no clues. We started an investigation, bringing in every available man to find the killers. But we weren't the only ones looking. Someone else wanted to know who had done this. Someone who wanted to find the killers more than we did. Someone angry, very angry. He came in broad daylight, attacking in silence. They said he moved with impossible speed. His teeht as sharp as razors. He stood more than eight feet tall." Gilberto says.

"Eight feet?" Chris asks, sounding skeptical.

"Small towns, big superstitions." Gilberto says, shrugging.

"What happened next?" Chris asks.

"It came at them with incredible strength. And what happened then, was desumano." Gilberto says. "They said his eyes glowed."

"Blue?" Chris asks.

"You've seen them?" Gilberto asks.

"Up close." Chris says.

"So you believe it too?" Gilberto asks. "You believe in werewolves?"

"I believe in Derek Hale." Chris says.

-

"Please don't kill me. Please, no." A man whimpers. "Let me go."

"Say it." Derek says.

"Lobisomem." The man whimpers. "Wolf man."

"So you know what I can do." Derek says. Two men move to attack him, but Derek's faster. He stands up and hits them, knocking them out. "Why are you hunting werewolves?"

"Because of you. He wants you. He doesn't  care about anyone else. He only wants you." The guy says.

"Who? Who wants me?" Derek asks.
