Ethan's POV
I stand in our hotel room, pacing anxiously. We're in London right now. God, I can't believe him. He should be here by now. I pull out my phone to call him again, only to get his voicemail.
"Me again." I say into the phone. "You promised you wouldn't be late. You know how long I've been trying to get tickets to this show? Exactly as long as we've been together. Because I'm that guy. So, please don't be the guy that shows up late to your anniversary, alright? Just get here before the car gets here." I press end, and I resume my pacing. He forgot. I can't believe he forgot. It's all I've been talking about for the last couple of weeks. After a little while, I look out the window to see the car out there. I sigh, and pull out my phone to call him, only to get his voicemail again. "The car's here. But you're not. Do you know what happens if we're late? They close the doors. Please, get here." I say into the phone. I end the call and resume my pacing. Where the hell is he? After about another ten minutes of pacing, I call him again, only to get the same result. His voicemail. "They closed the doors. We're ten minutes late and they closed the doors. Which means we're not going to see the show. It also means, you forgot our anniversary. Which also means, I'm going to kill you." I say. I press end, and I turn around quickly when the door is kicked opened, and Jackson is thrown into the room, tied up. A woman shoots me with a wolfsbane bullet, and I fall to the floor. She comes over to me and hits my head against the piano.
"Now, he's just as cute as the other one." She says.
"You know we're supposed to ask them questions before we kill them?" Her partner asks.
"Is that from you, or from him?" She asks.
"You know who that's from." He says. The woman kneels down in front of me.
"So, we hear you and your boyfriend have been tracking other werewolves. We'd like to know their names." She says. I don't respond.
"Tie him up." The guy says, tossing some rope to her. I look over to Jackson, to see his claws extended.
"Should've used the yellow wolfsbane." I say.
"What?" The guy asks.
"Regular wolfsbane won't work on him. Because he's not just part werewolf, he's part Kanima." I say. Jackson stands up.
"And both parts are pissed." Jackson says, and he easily knocks out the guy, and he goes after the woman.
"No, no, no. That's an antique." I say when she picks up a bowl and smashes it on Jackson's head. I sigh. "No, no, not the lamp." I say when Jackson throws her across the room, and knocks over the lamp, smashing it. "Watch out for the-" I start, but I stop when Jackson slams her against the mantlepiece, smashing the picture frames. "-pictures." Jackson finally manages to knock her out, and he comes over to me and kneels in front of me. "I just got those framed." I tell him.
"I can't believe you actually thought I forgot our anniversary." Jackson says, punching me lightly in the stomache.
"Ow." I say. He smiles, and leans in to kiss me.

Scott's POV
I sit nervously in the waiting room, listening intently to the doctors as they operate on my mom. Malia comes over and sits next to me, putting her hand over mine.
"I think she's coagulopathic. I need another suture." The doctor says. "The bullet missed the ascending aorta. Brachiocephalic is in tact. Hemodynamics are stable. She's going to be okay." I let out a sigh of relief, and Malia smiles in relief. I get up and go to her room.
