"It's a relic." Lydia says, holding out an ID. Currently, we're all gathered at Scott's, talking about the Ghost Riders. "An object with a fixed association to the past."

"Jake's ID was left behind after he was taken." Allison says.

"And Gwen found her sister's bracelet on her bedroom floor." Lydia says, nodding.

"Wait, if they were erased, how could they leave something behind?" I ask.

"A conserveration of mass." Lydia says. "The total mass of any isolated system remains constant."

"So, even the Ghost Riders have a weakness." Scott says.

"A relic would be proof that Stiles existed." Allison says.

"And we could bring him back." I say. We look over to see Liam and Mason talking.

"We need to hide them." Mason says.

"We need to fight them." Liam says.

"We need to hide them." Mason says again.

"Who's 'them'?" Scott asks.

"The Ghost Riders." Liam says.

"The kids at the party." Mason says.

"Got it." Scott says, still sounding a bit confused. He shakes his head quickly.

"We could get a lightning rod. Attract the Ghost Riders and catch them off guard." Liam says. "But since everyone from the party is in danger, we need to find a safe place to hide them until the storm is over."

"The Ghost Riders ride the lightning. Nowhere is safe." Scott says.

"It is if we're underground. The earth can ground the lightning's electrical charge." Mason says. "Everyone will be safe."

"Okay." Scott says, nodding. "Okay, here's what we're going to do. We're going to take everyone to the Argent's bunker. It's underground, and lined with Mountain Ash."

"We stopped the Ghost Riders before. We can do it again." Liam says.

"You didn't stop them. They just retreated. We don't know why." Scott says.

"Okay. How do we get everyone inside the bunker?" Liam asks.

"I'll leave that to you guys." Scott says, glancing at Liam, Corey, Mason, and Hayden. "And Luka, you help Lydia."

"With what?" I ask.

"She's going to search for proof that Stiles existed." Scott says. I nod. "And as for the rest of us, we're going to find a way to protect everyone."

"Hang on. You're going to take Lydia to do what, exactly?" Dad asks me. I sigh.

"Search the house." I say.

"And, uh, what exactly will you be searching for?" Dad asks, narrowing his eyes.

"People are leaving things behind. So if Stiles left anything..." Lydia says.

"Why would it be at my house, though?" Dad asks.

"You can't just erase people, Dad. They leave things behind." I say. Dad sighs.

"I couldn't sleep last night. So, I um, I got up and did some paperwork. The files were in the back of my car. So, I went to the garage, and some junk has fallen off a shelf, and I stubbed my toe on an old baseball bat. Without thinking, I yelled a name..." Dad says.

"Stiles." I say. Dad nods.

"Okay. Okay, search the house." Dad says.

"Thanks, Dad." I say. Lydia and I leave the station, and head to my house. "What should I do?" I ask her when we get to the house.
