Chapter Ten: Riders On The Storm

Stiles' POV

"Stiles?" I hear someone call my name. Curious, I stand up and look around. It kinda sounded like... "Stiles?" The voice says again. Lydia!

"Lydia?" I ask.

"The train will be arriving in 25 minutes."

"Lydia?" I ask again, trying to push through everyone. "Lydia!"

"Stiles!" Lydia says. "Stiles!"

"Lydia, wait!" I say, still trying to push through everyone. I suddenly hear a gun being fired, making everyone freeze.

"Give the boy some room." Dad says, coming into view. Dad!

"Dad? Dad?" I say, running over to him and throwing my arms around him.

"Oh, God. Oh, I found you. I can't believe I found you." Dad says, wrapping me into a hug. He kisses the top of my head.

"Dad, I can hear Lydia. I think I can get to her." I say. "I think she can get us out of here." I hear a horse neighing in the distance. Oh, crap.

"You need to get out of here. Don't worry about me." Dad says, letting go of me.

"What, you're kidding, right?" I ask incredulously.

"Go. Get help. Find your friends. Find your brother." Dad says.

"Right, and what about you?" I ask.

"We'll find each other again." Dad says. "Stiles, I'll hold them back. Now get the hell out of here." I hesitate for a moment. "Go!" Dad says, and I start running. I run down to the train tracks, where the barrier is. I try push the barrier, only to be pushed back.

"Stiles." Lydia says. "Keep going, Stiles! I can see you. Don't stop, Stiles!" I finally manage to break through the barrier.

Luka's POV

"Stiles?" Lydia asks when the light fades. I exchange a look with Jesse, who shrugs. "Where is he? It was working. You saw him right?" She asks, turning to us.

"We didn't see anyone." Jesse says after a while. "There was no one there."

"No. He was here. I know it." Lydia says. "Stiles was here."

"Liam." Scott says, turning to Liam.

"There's something you need to see." Liam says.

"You're still here." Scott says.

"Yeah, but everyone else is gone." Liam says. "All of them. They're all gone. Look, you have to come with me."

"What is it?" Scott asks.

"I-I can't explain it." Liam says. "I have to show it to you."

"Uh, all right. You guys stay here. Just in case." Scott says.

"In case Stiles comes back?" Lydia asks.

"If there's any hope, you need to keep trying." Scott says.

"I'm coming with you." I say, moving to go with him, but he stops me.

"No. I need you here with them. Please." Scott says. We stare at each other for a moment, until I sigh in defeat.

"Fine." I mumble.

"Thank you." He whispers, before leaving with Liam.

"What are you doing?" Lydia asks. I turn to see Malia opening up the bunker on the other side of the room.
