(I'm bad at writing fight scenes so please forgive me.)

The trio shoot lazers at the oncoming space rocks.

"Alec, stay back. Vergil you know what to do." Dante yells. He nodded and flew over to him. They stood back to back and shot a powerful shot at Mundus that looked a lot like two red and blue Chinese dragons. It hit the demon king full on and pushed him back. They continued to shoot at him until Alec felt a burst of power through her.

"Let me handle it this time guys!" She shouted to them. Dante nodded and Vergil shook his head. Before he could say anything to her, a white beam of light shot from her hands accompanied with a spirit like owl. The blast knocked everyone back and relieved Alec of her demon form.

Mundus roars angrily and shoots out pink lasers, two of which pierce Dante's body and one, Vergil's. Mundus then roars as he slams down extremely hard with his fist, sending a shower of meteors to accompany the falling trio.

Dante, Vergil and Alec finally land with a thud onto solid ground. There is much commotion and noise going on, as meteors continue to rain down. Mundus arrives on the scene, flapping his wings with a great deal of flourish, and landing waist-deep in the lava.

Vergil and Dante slowly stood, turning to Mundus.

"Protect Alec! Protect her like your life depends on it or so help me!" Dante yelled to his twin. He pulled out his guns and walked towards the demon.

"You don't order me!" Vergil shouted. Dante looked over his shoulder.

"You let her die and you die." He turned his attention back to Mundus. Vergil gave up and looked over at the mentioned.

"Still breathing." He muttered.

Dante shot mundus repeatedly and after a while, the demon king roars and covers his face with his hands. He flaps his wings, rises, and holds both arms up above his head as he makes his escape.

Dante, Vergil and a unconscious Alec are back in the temple. Dante walks over to the lifeless Trish, kneels down, and holds her head.

"My mother risked her life for me. And now you too. I should have saved you." He starts to tear up. "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with light!!!" His voice echoed in the large temple and a single tear falls on Trishs face. He set her back down and stood, but not before he placed his pendant on her chest.

"This was my mother's. Now I'm giving it to you." He reaches out for his Sparda sword. He takes it and slams it into the ground.

"My father's also here now. Rest... in Peace."
