"Well that took too long..." Dante sighed, tossing the philosifers stone in his hands. Vergil scowled.

"You're going to break it. Stop throwing it around like a toy." I sighed, watching the brotherly fight unfold. Once it got to the point where they were about to fight, I took the stone from Dante's hand and placed it on the fire.

"If you want to fight, then do it later." I said, looking at them. Vergil stepped away from Dante and towards me. He grabbed my hand and smiled. I grinned and looked at the floor.

Vergil's POV
"Oi." I turned to Dante and frowned.

"Be quiet. She's sleeping." He sucked his teeth and scoffed.

"Then leave her and let's go." He spun around and grabbed the elixir from the fire.

  "No. I'm not-"

"Since when do you care so much?!" He shouted, interrupting me. "You never did and you-"

"Enough brother!" I growled. "I've always cared for her." I sighed. I always have. When she fell to simple things like just being there. She is the light that I know I don't deserve. She is kind and loving, while I'm cold and cruel.

"You never cared about mother!" He shouted.

"I said that's enough Dante!" I shouted, forgetting about Alec. She shifted in my lap and woke up.

"Is it already done?" She said, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. I smiled faintly.

"Yes. We were about to leave." Dante said, sounding as if we hadn't fought at all. She nodded and stood up. I stood after and sighed, pulling Dante to the side.

"You say anything to her, I'll hurt you." I whispered, pulling away.

Alec's POV
I can't believe I fell asleep! I thought. I was a little more than embarrassed. I thought I would stay up, but I guess I thought wrong. I was tired anyway so I guess it wasn't too embarrassing.

Vergil pulled Dante to the side and said something to him. I wasn't all too interested in what he said, so I continued to stare at the portal that appeared after I woke up.

"Come on babe. We aren't going to get anywhere if you keep staring at it." Dante said to me, snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." I jumped into the portal and waited for the twins. When they appeared, I smiled.

  "Alright! Let's go!"
