Chapter 6 - The Cop

"Now c'mon, let's go back to eat." Matt took my hand in his and we walked back to the entrance of IHOP.

We got to the table and everyone had their food.

"Here guys, we got you double chocolate-chip pancakes," Jasmine said passing us the pancakes.

"Thanks Jas," Matt took them and handed me one.

"Thanks babe."

Everyone was talking about how excited they were for today's Magcon.

Jas and Megan were talking about how they got backstage passes.

"Yeah, me and Meg got backstage passes for free. What'd you get, Kassidy?"

I was nervous to say because I didn't have the backstage passes, I had general today. But if I was dating Matthew, I'm sure they'd let me get backstage.

"I have General Admission for today."

Megan and Jasmine started to laugh.

"Aye, don't laugh at her!" shouted Matt.

"Sorry Matt, but she's your girlfriend. She should be able to go back stage."

By this time, Kim came back.

"Babe, are you gonna eat?" Nash asked Kim.

"No, too many calories."

Everyone laughed.

"Alright is everyone ready?"

We all replied in chime, "Yup."

We headed out but IHOP was surrounded by screaming girls. It was ridiculous. So we couldn't get out.

They tried sneaking us out, but it didn't work because there were girls on every side of the restaurant.

God knows why we tried sneaking out.

Eventually girls had to leave.

So less of a crowd. This one girl had a sign, it had my name on it. She lifted it higher and it read,

"Kassidy doesn't deserve SHIT. Kill yourself you homeless bitch."

I wanted to be strong, but I couldn't help but cry. I ran to the restroom, and thank god I had waterproof mascara. Jasmine and Megan came running after me.

"What's wrong, Kassi?!" said Kim, looking worried.

"I - I - I saw a sign about me!" I said crying.

"What did it say?" Megan asked.

"It said 'Kassidy doesn't deserve SHIT. Kill yourself you homeless bitch," replied Jasmine, "I saw it."

"Oh my god! We need to kick her out!"

"No, you don't," I replied, "Its fine."

We walked out and Matt ran to me and picked me up.

"Don't listen to them, Kass. If I love you, that's all that matters! Do you hear me, beautiful? I'm your prince and your my princess. I love you so much, Kassi. I love you more than you love me." He hugs me tight and kisses me passionately.

Did I cry?

Of course I did! Matthew says stuff that gets you emotional. I loved it. He was the sweetest person you could ask for.

We were back at Matt's house. We were getting ready to go to the event.

But someone knocked on the door.

It was the Police.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!"

Matt started panicking.

"OPEN UP! ITS THE POLICE!"

We stood there staring at each other. Worrying.

"IF YOU DONT OPEN UP WE'LL BREAK DOWN THE DOOR!"

They were pounding on the door.

Matt took a deep breath and sighed.

"What did you do Matt?"

"Nothing, I swear!"

"ONE MORE TIME, OPEN UP OR WE'LL BREAK DOWN THE DOOR!"

Matt sighed and opened the door, nervously.

"Good day sir. May I come in?"

"Sh-Sure."

"Thank You."

At this moment, nothing was a joke anymore. I didn't know what was going on. My mind kind of just...Blanked Out.
