"Babe wake up," I said. I was standing on the side of the passenger door.

Gianna took a few minutes to wake up and she held her hands out, signaling me to carry her, "Take me inside," she mumbled.

I sighed and chuckled a little, "C'mere baby girl."

I lifted her out of her seat and closed the door behind me.

She had her arms wrapped around my torso.

"Babe, you need to wake up. We leave to go out to eat with everyone at 7."

She groaned and hopped out of my arms.

I opened the door and Kassidy and Matt were heading out right now. Matt looked great and Kassidy did too.

"Kass, can I talk to Matt for a bit?"

She nods and I pull Matt by the arm, far enough where they can't hear me.

"Bro, you ready?"

"Yeah, but what if she says no?"

"She won't. She loves you too much. Look," I showed him some of me and Kassidy's texts. I scrolled and every text talked about Matt.

I looked at Matt who was beaming.

"See bro? She loves you, a lot actually."

"Why's her name 'Mrs. Espinosa'?"

"She told me to put that," I patted his shoulder, "You'll be fine Matt. Got the ring?"

He nods and pulls it out.

I open the black box and 'Kassidy' is engraved on the side, "Bro, that's sick."

He nods in agreement and puts it back in his pocket.

"How are you planning on doing it?"

"I was gonna have the waiter put the ring in the hole of the bundt cake that we're gonna have and the napkin will say, "Will You Marry Me?" and music will start playing. I'll walk over to her side and get on one knee. So yeah..."

"Romantic."

"Totally."

Matt walked off and took Kassidy to the car, opening her door and closing it.

"C'mon G," I reached my hand out and grabbed hers. We intertwined our fingers and walked in.

"Y'all ready?!" shouted Nicole from across the room.

"Yeah! I'm hungry, let's go!" shouted Maddy.

"We're going!" I shouted.

"Is it fancy?" Gianna asked.

"No, you look fine," I wrapped my arm around her waist and guided her into the living room, where everyone sat, staring.

Matt's POV

Today was the day. The engagement. The day that Kassidy would agree or disagree on moving on with our lives.

What really scared me was the fact that she'd say no. But, Taylor showed me their text messages and she basically talked about us.

We drove off, "You ready?" she asked.

I kept my eyes on the road, "Yeah, you look stunning by the way..."

I saw her look down and smile, "Thank you."
