Matthew's POV-
Last night was rough. It came to find out that Kassidy's dad came to Bora Bora and he was our chauffeur yesterday. Kassidy hasn't been taking it too well though. But hopefully, when she's dress shopping later with Gianna, she won't worry about it. That's her problem. But mine is a life or death competition with her dad. She made it clear that 'he'd do anything to take down what's in his way'. And he's trying to get to talk to Kassidy, but I'm in the way; which is where I don't wanna be right now.

Taylor's POV-
So my heart is coming to an end with Gianna and I. She's been acting different and seems to see that she's not as interested in me as much as I am into her. Yes, I am gonna explain to her whats going on. Yes, we're gonna break up. Yes, we're still gonna be friends. So, I had invited Jill to come to the wedding this Saturday. She agreed and that's that. But, what I'm most worried about is dumping Gianna. I don't wanna hurt her, I really don't. But, it's come to the point where I can't handle Gianna not caring about me as much as she did months back. She barely got any hate and all my fans love her. But, Jill gets numerous amounts of love. To be honest, I haven't seen one hate tweet on Twitter. Plus, Jill actually loved me and she'd never stop. So yeah, today's the day me and Gianna are gonna be done. I hate doing this, but I don't even know if she loves me. I can't do this on my own, so I'm gonna talk to Matt about this. I was there for him when he got hate, and I know he'll give me some pretty good advice.
I walk down the stairs of the 2nd story, down to the 1st. Matt was in the kitchen talking to someone on the phone. Gianna's asleep and so is Kassidy, so this is one on one.
"Matt?" I whisper.
He turns to face me and he holds up his right index finger. I nod and walk over to the kitchen table. Once he's done with the call, he pulls out a chair and sits on the opposite side as me.
"What's up man?" he asks.
"I need advice Matt."
"With..."
"A breakup situation."
His smile drops and he gives me a solemn look. "Is it Gianna?" he asks.
A frown spreads across my face as I nod. All of our memories run through my head. I see Gianna with a big smile on her face showing her dimples. I see us cuddling. I see me sharing a promise. I see so many things. But, what stands out to me, is when I met her. She was outside of Walmart on a rainy day, sitting on a bench, waiting for her ride. Her hair was wavy and her eyes were lightly damaged by the smeared mascara and eyeliner. She looked so cute. I told her I'd give her a ride and that's how we first met. I loved every second of it.
As I blur out of my thoughts, Matt is waving his hand in my face. "Daydreaming?" he asks.
I wipe away a few loose tears and nod. I pull my bottom lip with my teeth as tears slowly slip down my cheeks.
"Bro, what's going on?"
"I need to breakup with Gianna. I need to. She's too beautiful to let go but she doesn't even love me anymore. I need Jill," I say quickly.
"Taylor, I-" Matt chokes on his words. "Why?"
I stop thinking. Why am I dumping Gianna? All the memories are flooding my head and I can't seem to find my words.
"I-I just don't think she loves me as much as she used to."
"Dude you don't-"
"Yes I do Matt! She doesn't love me anymore so I'm going back to Jill because she actually loved me!" I shout.
His eyes go wide as he looks behind me. Gianna had heard everything. How do I know? Because Matt was quiet the entire time. I didn't even dare to turn to her.
"You think I don't love you anymore?" I hear her mumble. "That's a lie, Taylor. And for someone who 'hates' Jill, you sure do want her back."
I stare at the checkered pattern on the table. I hear steps coming towards me and I knew they were Gianna's. She takes a seat across from me and I look her in her eyes that are full of guilt.
"Who said I stopped loving you?"
"I thought tha-"
"You're wrong Taylor. You're fucking wrong. How dare you think that and think it's okay to date Jill a-fucking-gain."
I sigh.
"How dare you."
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to date you anymore, Gianna. As much as I hate to say it, I just don't. Yes, we were together for quite some time but-"
"I'm gonna go now," Matt says awkwardly.
We wait until he leaves and I continue.
"But...I just think it's that time. I'm sorry Gianna, but it's true."
She scoffs. "Who knows if you even loved me. Who knows. You might have just used me to make Jill jealous. But, you know what, I don't fucking care anymore. I don't." She stands up and slams her hands on the table. "I don't fucking care! You're an asshole anyways!" she shouts as she runs upstairs with tears ruining her flawless face.
I swallow the huge lump in my throat as I let a few tears fall down my cheeks.
...
I was now on the couch, reading; something I hardly ever do. I was reading a book called Blind and was halfway through when I saw Gianna come down with her luggage.
I stand up quickly and run to her. "Where are you goi-"
"Home."
"You can't!" I shout. "You just can't!"
"Well I can. Bye Taylor."
She pulls her luggages out to the front porch and sits on the swing chair. I follow behind her. "Gianna don't go," I say.
"My ride's here. I'll see you later. Bye, have fun with Jill." She walks down the steps and throws her luggages in the back.
I walk down the stairs and stand on the side of her door. "Can I at least get a hug?"
She stares at me and I can already see the tears forming. She rejects me.
"Bye," she says, handing me the promise ring.
She gets in as the car drives off. I stand in the middle of the dust road and watch the car fade into the distance.
I stand out there until it's completely gone. I fall to the floor with a puddle of tears forming underneath me and the ring as a memory of her in my right hand. My fist clenches as the ring snaps. I open my fist and see that the diamond fell off. What have I done? I let my world slip away from my hands. Now, I have Jill. I no longer have Gianna because she's gone. And the only thought that repeatedly runs through my head is 'Gianna's gone'.
