Matt's POV

I can't believe it. Kassidy almost committed. I don't know what's gonna go on from here. Our lives or this is the end. Honestly, I don't fucking know. But I'll find my way back to Kassidy. It'll be hard, but it's worth a shot.
Everybody was at her flat so I figured, 'Why not go to her flat with gifts?' That's perfect.
I quickly started the car up and drove to Walgreens. Kassidy loved candy, sweets, and chips. I got her a few bags of sour patch kids, chocolate chip cookies, two stacks of ranch Pringles, and a HUGE teddy bear that was holding a heart that said 'I Love You'. I know she won't accept it. But I need Kassidy back. I can't leave her.
I did the self check-out and left.
Once I hopped into my car, I quickly drove to Kassidy's. I put all the candy, chips, and cookies in a mason jar. I poured all the sour patch kids, put in the cookies, and tied the stacks of Pringles to the sides.
I hopped out and knocked an rain was outing on my head. I could tell nobody was home by the looks of the driveway. Then someone answered the door. It was Kassidy.
She stared and me and slammed the door. I knocked again and she opened it, "What the fuck do you want?" she asked rolling her eyes.
"You," I said.
I grabbed her arm and looked down shocked. I look up at Kassidy who's covering her mouth, with her free hand and she was crying.
"Kassidy, wh-what is this?"
She sighed with tears running down her face, "My cuts."
"Kassidy, why-why did you do this?"
"Because of you!" she hissed, yanking back her arm. I stared at her, with watery eyes.
"Kassidy, y-you can't do this."
"Yes I can. You threw knives at my heart Matthew!"
I started crying, "You can't do this!"
She sighed, "Go away!" and that was the last I saw of her.
I texted her, "So are we over?"
"Fuck off u cunt!"
"Guess so," I replied back.
I ran my hand through my hair roughly, "God damn it!" I shouted, "I'll wait out here for eternity Kassidy! I'll wait for you to come back!"

Kassidy's POV
•••••|•••••
I heard Matt shout and I looked through my window. It was raining and he didn't leave. He sat there outside my door, waiting for me to forgive him.
Since the beginning, Kim was right.
Life isn't a fairytale.
"Life's a bitch, then you die," is what my mom used to say.
Everyone's right.
Kim's reference of life really beat me in the ass today. Hard.
I started to tear up, "I still love you Matthew, you just don't know it," I whisper to myself.
Lightning started to come along with the thunder that's been going on for about 14 minutes already. Yet, Matt was still there.
He waited outside and I felt bad. I cleaned up my cuts and walked to the door.
