LISTEN TO THE WEIGHT BY SHAWN MENDES NOW PLEASE

Taylor's POV-

Today, early this morning, Gianna left to go back to Indiana. Jill's here. I missed her. But as every second goes by, I realize that I miss Gianna more and more. If I call her she wont pick up. If I write a letter, she won't write back. If I send a gift, she won't open it.

I wrap my arm around Jill's waist and I pull her in. "I missed you beautiful," I say.

She rests her head on my shoulder. "You have no idea how much I missed you, Caniff."

I kiss her cheek and she pecks me on the lips. It felt good to have Jill back. I mean, all me and Gianna did was fight. But I still missed her.

The back door opens and there stands Kassi with a really pissed off look. I look at her and shrug. She signalizes me to go talk to her. "Hey Jill, we'll be going dress shopping later for the wedding," Kassi states.

I walk over to Kassi and she tugs on my shirt, pulling me inside. "Is Gianna coming to the wedding?"

"I don't know," I shrug. "Ask her."

Kass scoffs. "You!"

I hold my hands up in defense and pull out my phone. "Keep Jill company please," I say.

She walks out and I look for Gianna's contact, gcaniff 😍💍, it read. I smile and tap on it. I hold the phone to my ear as the rings vibrate. She finally picks up for what seemed like forever.

"Hello?" I hear her voice say. "Who's this?"

I clear my throat. "Hey G, it's Taylor."

Then the phone line went dead. As I hear the repeated beeps, a tear falls. She deleted my contact and ignored me. I decided to call again. Once again, the phone rings and she picks up again.

"What do you want?" she asks.

"Can you please come back to Bora Bora, babe?"

"Don't call me babe, you asshole."

"Gianna please."

"Tell Jill."

"Gianna...you're someone I need right now. Just please."

"You obviously don't need me if you have Jill, Taylor."

I stay quiet.

"You act like it's my fault that we broke up, Taylor, and it's not. You're the one that invited Jill to come down and you wanted to dump me because I supposedly didn't love you as much as I used to, when really, that's so false, it's a joke. I never stopped loving you Taylor. And I knew I never would stop. The funny thing is, you don't have any proof that I didn't love you as much as I used to. All you do is assume and you know what, I don't wanna have a relationship with an assumer. So I left. But I didn't leave because of the break up, I would've stayed to be honest. But you drove me away and I don't know if I wanna face you again because, who knows, I might just fall in love with you all over again, just like I did at the park in southern Indiana. I still loved you Taylor but now I don't. Besides, I found someone new."

My heart split in half when I heard that she found someone new. I didn't know she'd get past this so quickly. I didn't know what to say.

"I still love you," I say.

"Well I don't. Bye Taylor."

And once again, the line goes dead. I can feel the burning sensation of tears wanting to leave my eyes and at this point, I can't do anything but to let them out. I run upstairs to our, well, my room and I slam the door, locking it. I run to the bed and plop my body on, my face deep in the pillow. I cry and cry, just waiting for someone to hear me. I want to talk to someone right now. I really need that. I miss Gianna so much and I don't know what to do now. I have Jill but she's so much different than Gianna.

"I love you Gianna," I whisper. "I always have and I always will, babe."
