"Babe?" Matt whispered shaking my leg. "Wake up beautiful."

I opened my eyes.

"Babe, you look high," said Matt.

"Shut up," I said hitting his stomach.

"C'mon, let's get out," he said getting out of the car.

He came over to my side, opened my door, and carried me inside.

Once we were inside, he shut the front door and we went upstairs.

"Babe, was I out for that long?" I asked while he was walking up.

"Yeah, you were. But you survived because you wanted to come back to your Matthew."

I smiled with shut eyes and he kissed my forehead.

"I'm sorry," I had said.

"For what?"

"For making you wait on me for two weeks. For letting you stay home without me."

"Kassidy, I didn't care if I had to wait for you, as long as you came back home. I'd wait for all eternity for you to wake up. Plus, I stayed at the hospital with you for two weeks. I couldn't help but stay with you. I needed to be there by your side."

"I'll always be by your side, don't you worry." I said.

He hugged me tightly.

When we got to his room he lied me down and got me some clothes.

"Here," again, he handed me a tee shirt and some fuzzy pajama pants. I got changed and he went to take a shower and brush his teeth.

I threw my hair up in a messy ponytail and threw on some fuzzy socks.

I felt so comfy.

"Babe, you look so cute," Matt said leaning his hand against a wall.

"Thank you," I said smiling.

"Your welcome Miss Universe."

I lied down in bed and lied on my side.

The bed dipped down and Matthew gripped my hips and pulled me in close, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Your mine," he whispers.

"Mhm," I nodded.

He hugs me right and says, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," I mumble.

Matt put on some music, and once again, hugged me tight.

It was 2:38 and I heard a knocking on the door. Matt was still sleeping but I tried waking him up.

The knocking continued.

I felt as if I was dreaming, but the knocking would stop for 5 minutes and then continue. I couldn't close my eyes.

"Matt?" I said shaking him, "Matt, wake up."

"What's up?"

"Babe, there's someone downstairs."

Matt was wide-eyed.

"What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing. I'll be right back."

He threw in some clothes and got a handgun out from his safe he hid in his closet.

I say up quickly, "Matthew, why do you have a gun?!"

He turned his head to me, turned back to the door, and walked out.

The knocking got louder and I hid in the bathroom, almost crying.

This time the knocking wasn't knocking, it was pounding.

I opened the bathroom door and called out for Matt, "Matthew?" No answer. "Matt?" No answer again. I started crying, "Matthew?!"

"Kassidy," something said, "Kassidy, where are you? Come on out. Don't be scared," said the voice.

"Matt is that you?"

"Kassidy relax! It's just me!" shouted Matt. He flashed a light on the stairs and I saw him downstairs.

I ran down, "Matthew?"

The more I walked, the more the appearance of Matt disappeared, "Matthew stop playing!"

"Kassiiiii," the voice said. The knocking kept going, "Come on out. Don't be scared!"

Shit Matthew. Where the fuck are you?!

"Matthew, stop scaring me!"

I was basically in tears. Then there were beeps.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

There was clattering in the kitchen. Sorta like pans and pots dropping.

The hallway light started flickering.

I started crying.

BOOM BOOM BOOM, the knocks went.

What the hell is going on?

Then something grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into the darkness.

I screamed, terrified.

"HELLPPPP MEEEE!" I shouted.

The house echoed with my voice.

"HEEELLLLPPPP!"
