Kassidy-

So I got a call that Gianna is currently in labor. I know I don't talk about the pregnancies, but they're personal ya know? Anyways, Kian and Gianna are at the hospital because Gianna could give birth any minute. I told Matt and we quickly opened the garage and rushed out to the snow blanket that lied on the cement with our white escalade sitting there. Matt had Genesis in his hands and without hesitation, ran out to the car. He was excited but I don't know if I wanna go see Gianna. This is a risky drive to a hospital that's about a half hour away.

Matt said that Kian had texted him saying that Taylor and Jill showed up and that we needed to go. I hesitated and I decided why not? I grabbed my coat that lied on the counter in the kitchen. I ran out and punched in the code for the garage to close. As I heard it close, I look back and just wonder if I'll make it back.

The roads are slippery and I look out in the distance and it's extremely foggy. I get in and turn to Matt. "Be careful, please babe."

He looks at me. "Don't worry. We'll be fine. I love you," he says, kissing the top of my hand.

"I love you too," I whisper. It feels like there's cotton balls in my throat. I couldn't get a word out.

He smiles at me and backs out of the driveway, beginning to get on the road to the hospital.

...

We've spent about 15 minutes in the car so far.

"Are you guys hungry?" I hear Matt ask.

I take my worried eyes off of the snow paved road and look back at Genesis. "Are you hungry mamas?"

She nods and continues to sip from her sippy cup.

"Yeah, let's stop by McDonald's or something."

He nods and takes a sharp turn to pull into the fast food restaurant.

"Matt be careful god damn it!" I shout.

...

Now we're on a swervy road that gets me car sick a lot. I can feel the sickness beginning to hit me so I rest my head back and listen to the playlist of Matt's slow songs that have mostly Ariana, Justin, Ed, and Demi. Nothing Like Us (Acoustic) is playing at the moment. This song reminds me of Gianna and Taylor. It's like Justin is singing to Gianna about what Taylor is trying to say. They were perfect.

Remember when I said I didn't miss them? Yeah, I lied. They made my days so much happier. I begin to tear up a little bit.

Taylor still loves Gianna, but Gianna doesn't. I'm happy for both of them, but you can tell Taylor misses her a lot and I hope they get back together soon, thought Kian and Gianna are having a kid.

I begin to fall asleep until I feel Matt tightly grip my hand and kissed it. I open my eyes to try to turn to him, but it was too late. I couldn't see him because it was pitch black. I feel my heart rate slowly decreasing. Am I dying? No, I can't be. I just can't. I'm starting to see memories play back in my mind. I am dying!

...

I wake up on a soft blanket of snow. I sit up and hear someone calling my name. I also hear the radio of the car still playing Nothing Like Us (Acoustic), but very faint. I stand up and look around. Blood on my forearm catches my eye. I begin to freak out. I see our white escalade not too far from me. I run over and no one is inside. The doors are ripped off and there's glass all over. The roof has caved into the front, middle, and back seats. The hood cap was all bent and there was a tire missing. We just got in a crash.

"Matthew! Mattheww where are you?!" I hear sticks crackle behind me and I see Matt walking up. "Matthew!" I run to him. "Matt are you okay?!"

I hear sirens and try to focus on Matt. He pushes my arms away. "What-Who are you?"

I froze. He forgot. Everything we had, he forgot. "Matt, it's me," I say, feeling the warm tears run down my cheeks time by time. "It's Kassidy, you're wife." I say pointing to the ring.

"Um, I haven't gotten married yet. Who are you?"

I can't believe it. I begin to sob. Everything me and Matt had, all the memories and bullshit we went through together, is over with and done.

"You forgot," I say.

"Forgot what, I don't know who you are."

Without even realizing, I forgot about Genesis. I panic.

"Genesis! Mamas, where are you?!"

I run away from Matt, who's all cut and bruised up, and try to look for Genesis.

I run about 9 feet away from Matt and see a little body lying in the snow with a blood stained snow cushion underneath her. I cover my mouth, letting out a puff of smoke from my breath. That's when the tears fell down in lines. "Genesis? It's mommy. Are you okay baby?"

I roll her over and her face looked so beautiful. There was blood all on her lips and her hands were cut up and her forehead was in bad shape. But she was still beautiful. I hesitantly rest my hand on her chest and wait. But there's no heartbeat.

"Genesis," I whisper. "Genesis!" And now I begin to scream. "Genesis, wake up! Genesis!" I hold her in my arms and cry hard. Everything that made my life complete is gone forever. Genesis is gone. My clothes are now covered in blood but I don't care. My daughter, the most precious thing I would ever have, is gone. She's dead. There's no going back. I knew this trip wouldn't end well.

"Kassidy!" I hear someone shout. I turn around and it's Taylor and Jill.

"Taylor....Jill...." I say. I'm losing my voice because of the coldness.

They run to me and I set Genesis down. They embrace me and we all cry. I see Matt sitting on the floor crying. He doesn't know what's going on. All he knows is that he's all fucked up. Then they run to Matt. He doesn't recognize their faces either. They're talking to him and I just sit there next to my dead baby and watch.

Remember the note I wrote to you about the bus and everything? Yeah, the bus has finally come. The bus hit us and killed our daughter. Live in the now because you never know when that bus will come. Genesis didn't. Look at her now. She's dead.

I don't know how to end this other than saying that life really isn't a fairytale. I love you guys. Stay safe.
