Matt's POV

Today was the day.
The day me and Ashley would hang out for the first time in forever.
I woke up and Kassidy was still asleep. I kissed her cheek and carefully slipped out of bed.
I went straight to the shower and washed my hair. When I got out I had 8 messages from Ashley.
1. "Can't wait for today!"
2. "Which mall are we gonna go to?"
3. "Help me choose an outfit?!"
4. "Answerrr!"
5. "Matt are you there?"
6. "I'll be there in 4 hours!"
7. "Matthew Lee Espinosa! Answer rn!"
8. "Fine, don't answer."
God she's so desperate. But I still miss her.
I texted her back saying, "Sorry, I just got out of the shower."
I took out a blowdryer and started to run through my hair.
"Goodmorning!" Kassidy said stretching out her arms and wiping the sleep away from her eyes.
"Goodmorning."
She walked downstairs to get something to eat and came back up.
"You going with Ashely?"
"Mhm," I said fixing the collar of my shirt.
"Hey? Is it okay if I throw a little get together with everybody? I mean, the last time I say them was what? Almost a month ago?"
"Yeah," I said.
"Alright thanks."

The doorbell rang and I knew it was Ashely, so I kissed Kassidy goodbye and have her a big hug, "I love you."
"I love you too."
I ran outside and got in.
"What's up?"
"Nothing! I'm so excited!" she said squealing.
I forced a smile and looked up at my bedroom window. Kassidy was looking down at me waving and blowing kisses.
"Um, who is that?"
"The girl I had plans with today but had to bail because you wanna hang out."
"Oh."
We drove off listening to music.
"Which mall?" she asked.
"Ontario Mills. 3-4 hour drive, calm road, no traffic."
"Alright."

Kassi's POV

Since Matt was leaving with Ashley to go hang out, I thought I'd have a small get together with everyone. I was so tired but I had to clean the house.
I got up out of bed and grabbed my phone that was laying on the dresser. I made a group chat with everybody saying, "Hey guys. I'm having a get together today at 12 and you guys could sleepover," and hit send.
I looked over at the clock and it was 11:27am.
"Ugh," I said getting out of bed.
I got out of the room and went straight downstairs to start cleaning.
