Sibling problems

"Hey."

She greeted.

"Oh, hey. Okay ka na?"

"Umm, Yes, thank you. By the way, I was wondering... Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Huh?"

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Umm, wala, wala."

Then she sat beside him.

"Why then? Choosy ka ba?"

"Umm... Very."

"Oh. How come?"

"Kasi busy sa pamilya?"

"Oh come on, Kenneth. You have to make a better excuse than that."

"Umm...".

He sighed, then looked at Taki.

"Ayaw kong masaktan."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes..."

"Kenneth, lahat ng tao nasasaktan kapag nagmamahal. Dahil walang perfect na tao, walang perfect na couple. Dahil there's no such thing as perfect."

"Tama ka..."

"So, paano? Babalik na ko dun. Iwan na kita."

"Sige, salamat sa paalala."

"Don't mention it".

She said while standing up and patting his shoulder. She smiled at him and went back.

"Psst! Taki, what was that?"

"Wala kuya."

"Ano nga? Kinikilig ka eh!"

Jon teased.

"Wala nga! Ang kulit mo!"

"Hayy, sige. Nag-text nga pala si mo--"

"Wag mo ng ipaalala kuya, hinde ako papayag na magpa-arrange marriage."

"No. She wants you to go back."

"For what? For that dumb idea?".

Jon lost his words. Taki sighed and apologized to him.

"I'm sorry, kuya. Nadala lang ako..."

"Its okay,Taki. Alam ko namang walang sinumang tao ang gusto sa arranged marriage."

"Pero, kung ayaw ko... Ibig sabihin, ikaw ang papalit sa pwesto ko?"

"Exactly. Pero wala nakong magagawa. You already backed out. I can't dissapoint them now."

"Kuya, wag mong hayaan na kotrolin ka nila."

"I have to do this, Taki. I'm sorry".

Taki understands her kuya. They both hugged each other and smiled.

"Andito na po tyo sa 'Banul beach'!"

Miggy shouted. Everyone puts down their phones and looked at the amazing view of the beach.

Kenneth recieved a call from his sister, Aya, then he excused himself from the group.

-Aya

"Hello? Aya?"

"Kuya..."

"Anong problema?"

"Si papa, may heart- attack..."

"Ano? Nasan si papa ngayon?"

"Nasa ospital na po, kuya. Kelangan nya na magpa-gamot, kuya. Kaso wala kaming pera. Hinahanap ka narin ni papa."

"Oh sige, babalik na ko ng sa susunod na linggo."

"Sige po, sasabihin ko na kay mama. Bye, kuya. Miss you po, Love you po. Ingat po palagi. Godbless!"

"Sige, Godbless rin! Bye!"

Then the call ended. Miggy approached him and asked what happend.

"Si Papa, may heart-attack."

"Huh? Paano? Eh tiba healthy si tito?"

"Ayun na nga eh, healthy naman si papa...".

Miggy patted his shoulder and told him that he was going. Kenneth was left in the boat alone. Wondering about what happend to his father. Taki was having fun with her friends, when she spotted Kenneth, sitting on the bench in the boat.

She climbed up the boat and tapped Kenneth's shoulder. She smiled at him. He smiled at her. Then she sat down beside him. Hugging him tightly.
