Kenneth meets ate Hera

"Hello!"

Toni greeted.

"Hey! Is everyone complete?"

Kuya asked.

"Wait!"

Kim said, while gasping for air.

"Kim, bat ang tagal tagal mo? We've all been waiting for 10 minutes."

"Grabe kyo saakin. You're just all excited to enroll for college. Ano pa ang hinihintay natin? Let's go!"

It took us 2 hours to enroll, plus the waiting thing. We went to a buffet to celebrate. And it took us another hour to wait! Pati ba naman dito, traffic?

"Love, ganito ba kyo lagi pag nage-enroll?"

Kenneth asked.

"Hmm? Hinde naman. Its our first time to be in the same school kasi. And I'm glad you're with me this school year. What do you want to be in the future, Love?"

"A pilot."

"Oh, I shouldn't have called you "Captain" instead. There are some similarities, but at the same time, not. Ang layo ng tubig sa langit, mahal."

"I know. Pero sana hinde ganun kahirap noh?"

"Hmm... I hope not."

"Ikaw ba, ano gusto mo maging?"

"A flight-stewardess."

"Talaga?"

I nodded.

"Compatible talaga tyo."

He whispered.

"Sus."

I slapped his arm while he laughed.

"Come on na. Tayo na next."

We both stood up and the waiter took us to our table.

"Taki, kuha na kami ng pagkain dun-- Toni, teka lang!"

"Ehh! Bilis na kasi, Shaira! Gutom nako please!"

I laughed at Toni.

"Sige na, bes. Sinasapiaan na ung kaibigan natin oh."

She laughed.

"Hay nako. Sige na."

Toni pulled her to the pasta section, then I returned my attention back to Kenneth.

"Kuha na tyo ng food? I'm hungry na."

"Sige, tara?"

Then I nodded.

"Jon, kuha lng kami ni Taki ng food!"

"Sus. Sige lang, trops!"

I smiled at kuya, then I pulled Kenneth to one of the sections.

1 hour has passed. Me and my friends are all tired from eating. We all got up and walked around the mall to get some excercise. Me and Kenneth went to a store so we can buy him some clothes. He was in the dressing room until I saw a famillar face. She was holding a baby while waiting outside of the dressing room as well.

"Ate Hera?"

She looked at me. Then I saw how her jaw dropped when I said that.

"Taki! Oh my gosh! What are you doing here?"

"Umm... waiting for my boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? I thought kakasal ka agad?"

"No, I... I actually ran from the marriage..."

"Really? You're a strong girl, sis."

"Thank you. Who's this little girl?"

"Ay. This is Martina Rosette Tuviera."

She happily said while rocking her baby.

"Tuviera? Akala ko hiwalay na kyo ng asawa mo?"

"Taki... Hinde mo kasi alam ang buong storia..."

"Then tell me."

"Pag-andito na si Jon--"

"Love, tapos na-- Umm... Hello po."

Kenneth greeted my ate.

"Hello. You must be my sister's lucky man?"

"Opo."

"Love, we'll buy that na. Kailangan kong makausap si ate."

"Sige. Tara na?"

"Ate, we'll meet you at the condo?"

"Okay".
