"Ready for bed?" I ask my little brother (idk if he has one or not, but for this he does. Shut up).

"Noo," he whined. He was on the couch watching cartoons on the TV.

"We have school tomorrow, it's already 10:00, time for bed." He pouted and crossed his arms, but didn't move. "Okay, I'm gonna be the bad guy," I smiled. I turned off the TV, picked him up, throwing him over my shoulder, and walked upstairs to his room.

"No! Jon let me down!" He laughed. I dropped him on his bed once we got to his room.

"Okay," I smiled, "now go to bed." He smiled back and nodded, telling me okay. "Night crazy," I tucked him in and kissed his forehead.

"Night," I walked out of his room and closed the door. I went through the house, making sure everything was locked, before heading to bed myself.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see my brother. "I can't sleep. Can I sleep with you?" He asked, holding his little brown teddy bear. Sure he was 12, old enough to sleep by himself, but I didn't mind.

"Of course," I moved back so he could lay down with me.

"Hey Jon? I've never asked, what happened to your ear?" He pointed to it.

"It happened a long time ago. 11 years ago, around when I was...6 years old I think. And you were only about 1. I... I don't really remember what happened. All I know is it broke and never got fixed." I told him.

"Oh, that sucks," we both laughed. We talked for a little longer before both of us falling asleep.

The bed shifted lightly, making me wake up again. "Sorry," my brother said getting up, "I have to go to the bathroom." I nodded and he left. "Nooo!" He screamed. I jumped up out of bed and ran to the bathroom. He wasn't there. "Leave me alone!" I ran to his bedroom, it was locked. "I don't know where my brother is! I swear!" I kicked open the door to find a man holding my brother at gun point. I go to run at him, but another guy holds me.

"Oh would you look at that. Your brother is here. We've been looking for him. Would've been easier to tell the truth."

"Let him go!" I struggled against the one holding me. The other guy just laughed, shaking his head. He pushed the gun to my brothers head, "Noo!" I screamed, and he pulled it. "You bastard!" I growled, fighting harder.

"Now it's your turn," he one holding me held my throat with his arm as the other walked over. I didn't know how, but I pushed against the arms and jumped up, forming into a wolf. I ran after the one in front of me, pushing him to the ground. I put my face to his, gave a violent bark and bit down on his throat and threw him across the room. I turned back to the other one, stalking over to him. He had put himself in a corner. Once I reached him, I was eye level with him. I looked up to see he was a hybrid and not human, so he would understand me.

"You will stay away from me! You've ruined my life once and you went to do it again!" I growled, "now. Get out!" I barked, slashing him with my claws against his chest, making him almost fly out the room. He groaned, but still got up to run out. I walked over to my brother. As soon as I saw him, I collapsed onto the floor and whined. I felt the tears run threw my fur and onto the floor. I laid next to him, never leaving his side, and cried myself to sleep.
