"Don't touch me. Don't tell me what to do. Don't read my mind! And don't tell Craig about it!" I snapped. Evan's eyes turned from light brown to dark red.

"I can do what I want! I don't have to listen to you! And I do it to make sure you're safe and okay! Like I did today, and I didn't tell Craig! I don't want to have a talk with you cause I know you're old enough, but I will if we have to!" Ev glared. Craig looked, at this point, confused.

"What?" I asked in calm, yet confused, voice.

"I'm sorry I lied to you, and I'm sorry I yelled. And I didn't tell Craig. I don't tell him about that stuff." Evan's voice was calm, but his mind not so much, as his eyes were still red.

"I'm sorry for yelling and pushing you guys. I just, sometimes I can't help it," I sunk down to sit on the floor, putting my head in my hands. "I'm a horrible person. Horrible friend, and an even worst brother." The two talked for no more than a second, and Craig left and Evan sat next to me. "I'm just messing everything up. Stupid," I mumble then hit my head.

"Please don't do that," Ev grabbed my wrist, pulling them away from my head. "And you're not a horrible anything."

"Who are you trying to convince? I yelled at and pushed you, pushed Craig..." my eyes burned as tears fell. "I'm turning into dad," Evan grabbed my face to look at him.

"You're not like dad. You'll never be like dad. You love others and not only yourself. You don't do, bad things. Don't ever say you're like dad, cause you're not," he told me, letting me go. "Okay?" He asked and I nodded, tears still falling quickly. "Come here," Evan opened his arms and I fell into him, hugging him.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"Yelling, being angry when I really shouldn't have been. Being a screw up. Being a baby," I sigh.

"Okay, you're not a baby and I get where you're coming from of being angry. If it makes you feel better, I don't see what you're dreaming of unless something feels way off...like today. And you're not a screw up." We pull way. Evan was rubbing my back, trying to make me feel better.

"Name two things I haven't screwed up on," I told him.

"When you're a great brother and you haven't killed or starved me yet." We laugh and I rolled my eyes. "You haven't screwed up with Jon."

"Evan—" I glared.

"Hear me out," he cut me off. I raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to continue. "You haven't been anything but nice to him, you're the first to help him, and he seems happy around you. You care so much you took him home and watched after him after school, and hell, you let him go home with your favorite sweatshirt." I look away and blush slightly. "Ty, you help and care so much. And with you yelling and that bullshit, I get. I broke a promise, and I feel terrible about it, and you've had so much pressure on you. Raising me after what happened a couple years ago, school, paying for food and whatnot. That doesn't make you a bad person."

"But it's still not an excuse. Everyone has hard times, some harder than mine, and they don't lash out."

"That's not true. I know one person, I don't know what happened but something bad did, and they're lashing out. You even know the person."

"Who? I don't know anyone doing that," I asked him.

"Jon for instance," He told me.

"What? No. When?" Am I really that blind? I thought.

"School today. Him fighting Brian, was a way for him to lash out. I know some stuff that happened with him, but not all of it. You should talk to him. It might help you both," Ev gave a warm smile, which I returned.

"Hey guys," Craig called from the door. "I swear on my life I wasn't listening, but Tyler you have someone calling you on Skype."

"Shit, I forgot I was recording with a friend." I got up, opened the door and walked to my room.

"Ty!" Ev called, making me turn around, "talk to him." I nodded and went to my room.

"Hello?" Someone said as I sat at my computer, putting on my headphones.

"Hey! I'm so sorry. I had some stuff that I had to deal with," I told him.

"It's all good! I had some stuff too. Anyway, you ready mister Wildcat?"

"Hell yea sir Delirious!" We both laughed and started to play GTA5.
