~6 Year Old Jon~

"Happy birthday Jonny!" My mom smiled, handing me a box with paper around it. It was my birthday, duh, and the end of spring break. Which means I'd have to go back to school in two days, boo.

"A whole 6 years old, he's almost old enough to drive!" My dad laughed. My mom rolled her eyes with a smile. "Go ahead son. Open it up," as I was about to open it, I heard my brother cry from the other room. Just waking up from his nap.

"Oh no. Jonny honey, can you wait just a second?" My mom asked, "I'll get you brother and than you can open it?"

"Okay," I smiled at her. She walked off, and came back with my brother in her arms. "I like Jay. He can be loud, but I like him."

"We do too. Now, go ahead." I pulled off the paper and found a little brown bear.

"He's so cute!" I squeal, hugging the animal tightly. "Thank you mom and dad!"

~TS: That Night~

I was woken from the sound of a scream. "You won't touch them!" It was mom. I got up and stood by my door, listening. "Just leave them--" and there was aloud bang. I jumped away, tears filling and falling from my eyes. But I stayed put.

"No! You bastard!" I heard my dad yell. Now, I ran out of my room and go to stand by my parents door, just peaking in. I saw my mom laying down behind their bed, and dad sitting next to her. Crying. "You're gonna pay!" He yelled and got up, but another loud bang and he fell to the floor. Motionless. I ran threw the door to sit next to my parents. They were covered in red. Unmoving. I cried and heard mumbles behind me.

"You can't kill him." One guy said.

"Why the hell not! We don't need him--" A second guy said.

"Not yet we don't. He's more valuable in the future. Now, let's go!" A girl snapped. I looked up with blurry, tear filled eyes and saw two of the three walk out. The other, walk towards me.

"Get up kid. Now," he snapped. I was scared, so I did as told. He squeezed my right ear hard. He was practically holding me up by it. "You say a single word of what really happened, I'll find you and the person you told, and kill them. And you. Got it?" I cried 'okay' as I tried to get him to let go. "Go." He finally let go and I dropped to the floor. Doors were slammed and cars speeding down the road.

I went to go back to my mom and dad, but stopped and my brothers crying. I got up and ran to his room. He was in his bed. "What's wrong?" I asked, but he said nothing. I thought about what mom does, so I picked him up and held him, but he still cried. I got an idea, and went downstairs. I lay him on the couch, opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle. I put the milk I grabbed in the fridge into the bottle and went back to him. I held him and tried to give him the bottle, and he took it.

I look down at him and smile. "Don't worry, I won't let anything bad happen to you. Ever." I told him.....

~16 Year Old Jon~

"What do you want for dinner?"

"I don't know," I could hear the eye roll in Jason's voice. "I can make it myself anyway. I'm 11."

"I know. I just want to--"

"Take care of me. I know!" Jason walked from the living room into the kitchen, to where I was. "You say that every time! I can take care of myself Jon!" He snapped.
