TRIGGER WARNING: READ AT OWN RISK.

Tyler

I walked downstairs to meet Craig and Evan sitting on the couch, playing a game, and sat with them. "Where's Jon?" My brother asked.

"He's sleeping. He's had a long day," I told them. "Alright, my turn!" I said, taking Craig's controller to play Mario Kart.

After about a two hours of playing, I heard Jon start to scream. Both Evan and Craig jump a foot in the air, and looked upstairs in terror. "I've never heard him do that!" Craig old them, getting up to go get him, but I stopped him. "What are you doing?"

"One, just leave him it's what he wanted me to do for tonight. Two, how have you never heard him do that?" I was dumbfounded.

"Cause he's never done that when we were together. And for tonight? How long has he been doing it?" Craig looked horrified.

"It's been about—" I stopped when I heard Jon's scream cut off short. It's never been than short. "That's never happened. Something's not right." I jumped over the couch and sprinted to his room. Jon was sitting up on the edge of the bed, back facing the door. His right arm jerked and the smallest whine came for his mouth. I walk in, shut and locked the door. When the lock sounded, Jon turned around to see me. "Jon—"

"Tyler what're you doing in here?" Jon asked worriedly. He kept his back to me, but moved his arms away when I walked towards him.

"Whatcha ya got there Jon?" I asked softly. I knelt in front him and he hid his arms behind his back.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it," he tried to back away, but I put my hands on his legs to keep him still.

"Please tell me what's going on," I pleaded.

"Tyler! Let us in!" I heard one say.

"Guys stop! I'm handling it!" I yelled back. I look up into Jon's tearful eyes. "Please Jon. I know something's wrong. Please I just wanna help."

"It's your turn to not be mad, okay?" His voice, small and scared.

"I promise." A tear rolled down his cheek as he showed me what was in his right hand. I looked to see a razor. I wasn't mad, I was just, sad. "Can I see you other arm?" I held out both hands, one to take and pocket the blade, and the other to take his arm.

"No," Jon whispered.

"Please. I wanna make sure your okay," he hesitated before giving me his arm, and looking away. He had three long cuts across his arms, one was still bleeding and the others seemed to slow to a stop.

"I can't do this anymore. The nightmares, the fear what might happen, I just...I can't." Tears flow down his face. "I don't know what to do anymore." I pulled him to a hug, and he cried on my shoulder. This time, his cries weren't silent like usual, he was actually crying. It broke my heart, and I didn't think it would. Not this bad anyway.

"Talk to me. Let me in and take some of the weight off your shoulders. Tell me what I can do. Anything, that I can do." My voice was slightly shaking as I held back the tears. I rubbed his back, trying to calm him. "Will you let me do that?" He hesitated.

"I can do that. I'll let you help," he sniffed. Jon pulled his head back, wiping the tears away, only for new ones to appear. "Fuckin hell," he chuckled, "stop crying." Jon waved his hands in front of his face, like a girl trying to dry their fake eyelashes, making me giggle.

"It's okay Jon. Just breath," Jon took a few deep breaths and let them out again.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." He smiled at me. I have him a playful look, "I am. I'm okay right now." He rolled his eyes, still smiling.

"Alright fine. I'll believe you." I gave him a peck on the lips, "you wanna go back to bed or go downstairs? I'm staying with you regardless," I chuckled.

"I wanna go back to bed, but I really need to get something to drink." I nodded and we got up to get Jon something to drink. When I opened the door however, Craig and Evan feel into the room. Like, onto their face.

"I swear to God! If you two don't leave in the next two seconds!" I snapped. They jumped up and ran off. "Sorry." I muttered to Jon.

"It's okay. I get it," he chuckled and held my hand as we went downstairs.

~~~
Once we get back upstairs, we lay down and fall asleep rather quickly. Me on my back, and Jon cuddled up to me with his head on my chest.
Jon
I started to fall asleep, but not before getting a weird feeling. I've felt it before, but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was.
