"Wait, what?" He asked, stopping me at the car.

"It's hard enough living with my brother in the house my parents were--" I cut myself off. No! Can't say that! My mind yelled at me, remembering the memory briefly, "where my parents died in." I sighed, "I just can't live in it now that my brother is gone now. My parents had another house near here, but it's out of this school district."

"It's in the one across town," Craig sadly nodded.

"I'm sorry. But I was wondering, if you wanted to go with me?" His eyes widened at the idea.

"God damn. I would love to," there was a but coming, "but," there it is, "I can't. You know my parents. They're not going to let me go."

"That's okay. I was actually figuring that that would be the answer. I just thought I'd try. But the question now is, are we still going to be a thing? I could always come over. Or you could come over with me."

"I love you Jon, but you know I'm always honest," I nodded, knowing he was, "but I don't think that'd work. We'd never see each other that much. After school for two or three hours or a day over the weekend," I could tell this hurt him, which made me hurt.

"Okay. Please tell me we're at least going to stay in contact?"

"Of course we are," he smiled. I pull him into another hug.

"Alright, I gotta go pack up." We pulled away.

"When are you going?"

"I want to leave no later than two days. But I'm going today. Just want to get out, I guess."

"Okay, I love you Jon," he smiled and let go of my hand slowly.

"I love you too. Oh one last thing. I know this one guy at school who likes you. I've gotten to know him, and I'm sure you two will be great together."

"Who?"

"Oh I can't tell you his name," I teased, Craig smiled and rolled his eyes. "I'll give you this. He's in our science class and sits to the right of us. You'll know who it is," I grin. I kiss him one last time, and we go our different ways. Oh god it hurt to do this, but I had to. Once I got home, I packed the few things I had. Some clothes, old pictures with my parents and brother, old stuffed animals that had meaning to me. It didn't take more than four boxes. I put the last one in my car, then went back and walked through the house. I go to my room once more and saw the little brown teddy bear on the floor, half way under my bed. I grab it and hugged it tightly. I walked back downstairs and into the kitchen, turning on the gas on the stove. I walked across the house and lit a candle furthest away from the gas. "Nothing bad will happen in this house again," I walked out to my car, and drove to the 'new' house. It wasn't all that new, my parents had paid it off for if my brother and I had to stay somewhere if we didn't have a place. I unpacked the little I had and watched TV downstairs.

I know right! I have one question for you. Why did you two?...

Me
It's a long story. But the shortened version is, that I had to move. Ask Craig, he'll explain it better.

Okay. Well I'll let you go then. Bye Jon :)

Me
Bye Ev :)

I set my phone down on the couch and dozed off to the sound of the TV, still holding the small bear.
