Goodbyes

I would've just walked away. But Matt glanced over and saw me, I shook my head, to make sure he didn't acknowledge that I was there. Thankfully, for once, he took the hint.

He just nodded slightly, and I walked off, rubbing the temples of my forehead.

I went to my favorite place, yes, you've guessed it. The coffee shop. I leaned up against the counter, and smiled at the barista.

"Oh, you again. What will it be this time?" He smiled.

I chuckled, and almost ordered the usual, but then I decided why not try something new?

"Umm..you have smoothies here?" I asked with a smile. He nodded. "We sure do, any specific flavor?"

Just as he asked, Matt and the rest of the BC walked in.

"Uh, surprise me." I replied, before walking towards my friends.

My eyes widened, when I saw Marty walk in with them.

"Oh, hey!" I said, trying to sound normal, but of course sounded as awkward as ever. I wanted to slam my head into a wall. Matt cleared his throat.

"Hey, so..you guys get a table, we're gonna order." He stated, before motioning for me to follow him.

He smacked his forehead. "What the heck was that?"

I let out a sigh. "I don't know! I- I just heard what he said and I can't look him in the eyes." I whisper screamed.

We approached the counter again, and the barista handed me my smoothie with a smile, I paid him and made sure to tip him well for all the crap he had to deal with lately because of me and my drama.

"Thank you! It's raspberry by the way, since you didn't specify." He replied, and told Matt he'd be with him in a minute, before walking away.

Matt looked at me, his mouth ajar, and his brows furrowed. "Raspberries? Really?"

I smacked my forehead, and handed the drink to Matt. "You take this, okay?" He rolled his eyes.

"But..I don't want it." He stated, a confused tone in his voice.

I let out a sigh. "If you take it, I'll tell you the deal with the raspberries. Okay?"

He thought it over for a second, then agreed. I rolled my eyes and explained it to him.

His eyes grew even wider. "Wait..did you sleep with Adam? In my room?" He whisper screamed.

Before I could answer him, Marty came over, that same smile that we all know and lov-I mean like a lot..a normal amount..

I felt his hand on my lower back, and a chill went through my spine. He noticed it too, but he didn't say anything. Matt raised his eyebrows, and shot me an annoyed look.

Marty cleared his throat. "Everyfing okay?"

Me and Matt exchanged looks, and nodded. I faked a smile. "Yeah, actually, I'm gonna go make a call, then you guys have my full attention." I explained, before walking outside, as fast as I could.

Marty's face hardened, and he crossed his arms as he looked at Matt. "Did you tell her what I said?"

"Did I? No. I didn't." Matt replied.

Marty cocked his head. "Wha-why are you saying it like that?" He asked, in an annoyed and confused tone. Matt rubbed his forehead, and let out a sigh.

"I don't know what you're talking about. All I'm saying, is that if she knows, it's because she overheard you when she came to talk to the rest of us. Not because I told her. But you know..who knows..." He replied, telling Marty how I knew, without actually having to say it.

I took a deep breath of fresh air, as I made my call to WWE. I cleared my throat when I heard an answer.

"Yes, this is Y/N Y/L/N. I'd like to discuss signing over to WWE."

The call seemed to go on forever, but after I was done. I felt relieved. I was leaving after my next show, and going to NXT.

I returned inside, to spend a very awkward rest of the day with guys I won't see for who knows how long after this? I can't think about that now.

My last match was the same night. I said my farewell speech, and that was it. I returned backstage, to a bunch of hugs from the rest of BC.

"I'm gonna miss all of you, I hope you realize that." I said, tears in my eyes.

Cody smiled, and looked at all of us. "One more time while she's still here?" He suggested. Of course we all nodded, and knew exactly what he was talking about.

At the count of three, we all yelled it.

"F*ck The Revival!"

I smiled, and said a final goodbye before walking out. Matt and Nick followed me.

"Oh, hey..just so you know, neither of us can drive you to the airport like we promised." Matt explained an awkward tone in his voice. I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks for letting me know ten minutes before I have to go Matthew." I stated dryly as I crossed my arms.

"It's okay Love, I agreed to drive you. Is that alright?" I heard a familiar voice say, I looked up to see Marty, his hands in his pockets, and that same smile he always wore.

I smiled softly, and nodded.

Matt and Nick left, and me and Marty got in his car. I stayed silent as he drove, that is until he cleared his throat.

"I know you heard me, and giving me the silent treatment after everyfing we've been through, really hurts Love. I thought I knew you better."

When Matt and Nick returned to their hotel room, Adam was still there, laying in Nick's bed on his phone.

Nick rolled his eyes, and made him get in the floor. Adam sighed and threw his hands up in defense.

"If you insist." He chuckled.

Matt tried to hold in his laughter when he remembered what I told him earlier, but he lost it just as Nick was about to fall asleep.

Nick let out a groan of annoyance. "What is your problem?!" He exclaimed, just wanting to go to sleep.

"Oh..sorry, I just forgot to tell you.." He replied in between laughs. "Y/N and Adam totally had sex in your bed Dude!" He exclaimed.

Nick rolled his eyes, and turned on his light, as he looked at Adam with a disgusted expression.

"I hate you."

---

"What am I supposed to say Marty? I'm leaving. Anything I say, isn't gonna help." I cried, just as we got to the airport.

He sighed, and leaned his head into the steering wheel, then he looked back at me. "I need somefing Love. I just..I have to know. Are you in love with me, at all? You can lie to me if you need to.."

I thought back on everything. I knew how I felt. Whether or not I wanted to admit it, I knew.

I cleared my throat, as I began to cry even more.

"No. I'm not in love with you. I don't wonder what it'd be like if we were together, I definitely haven't thought about staying for you. Me and you? Was a mistake. A one time, stupid, reckless, mistake. One that I never wanna make again." I choked out.

He wiped his eyes, and breathed a laugh. "Wow Love..talk about harsh." He started, before clearing his throat. "You know, I said you could lie to me.." He trailed off.

I grabbed my suitcase. "That's the thing.." I began, as I opened my door, and looked him in the eyes one last time.

"I did.."

And that was the last thing I managed to say before getting out of the car, and disappearing into the crowd.
